We call it Dasa Beach View as our hotel looks directly out onto the beach! With brand new rooms 2 rooms we can offer an exclusive and quiet beautiful place to be in the South of Sri-Lanka! You will see from the photos that our rooms are bright, new and clean. (January 2017) We have hot water working 24/7, breakfast (of your choice) included and Free wifi everywhere on the property. 30 seconds walk to the beach, where you will find a very quiet and secluded private white sand beach, perfect for relaxing, sunbathing and swimming. 300m walk on the beach will take you to several local, low cost seafood restaurants, serving lobster, king prawn and fish all day and night. WOW! 30 minutes Tuk Tuk drive to the nearby town Galle. Galle is a great place to see history and go shopping. There are many markets and clothes shops in this town. We can organise tour guides, trips to the National Park, snorkelling and tours around the nearby Lake Koggalla with our guides who speak a number of languages (enquire for details). We started out with 2 nights, but ended up with 7 nights. The hotel is only two rooms and very private. Owner is a really humble, honest man. He will help if you need anything. Breakfast and daily service is provided of a locally hired man. He is eager to make you breakfast of your own selection. Our favorite was omelette with fresh tomato and cucumber + papaya fruit. Location on hotel is very nice. You have sunbeds both on beach or in shade close to beach. Hotel room is big and with ac + fan. It is also mounted electrical mosquito preventers. We really enjoyed our stay here and i would recommend this hotel.

Lovely place, right on the beach. Reasonable price, good clean room and good breakfast. BUT....it's unfortunate that the property guardian is, to say the least 'over attentive'. He is constantly fussing around you, then expects ( indeed asks for!) a large tip at the end of the stay. The management are aware and hopefully they will address this as it does detract from the stay.

Hi BosBosley! thanks very much for the kind review, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay at our property on the beach! we take all feedback very seriously and look to address all single issues raised by our guests. thank you for making us aware of the over-fussing from the property guardian, I guess you are referring to the chef! He does try to help as much as he can (sometimes a little too much!). We will have the management discuss this further in detail with him. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I know that he is relatively old and will be leaving our hotel this year, however this question will be addressed to help other guests in the future until that time!
