We stayed for 5 nights end March / early April, after a 9 day Sri Lanka tour. We enjoyed our stay and especially the service from Kasun with the loungers (he was sadly missed for 2 days due to him being on holiday!). Plenty of loungers for relaxing around the pool area. Only disappointment for us was that on the first night we were told the only option for dinner was the set $40 three course meal, this didn't have the choices we wanted, and so we ate out every night. On our penultimate night we were told that we could have ordered not off the menu, and it was disappointing that this wasn't made clear to us.

With only a handful of rooms this is a peaceful luxury oasis off a busy dusty main road close to Galle and Weligama. The penthouse suites were huge and comfortable with lovely views of the ocean. The whole team was dedicated to providing the best service - nothing was too much trouble. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious. We went for dinner at the sister hotel and it was also wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Delightful, personable boutique hotel right on the beach with attentive staff and very good standards. Food is excellent. Close enough to surfing hotspots, spice island and birdwatching on Koggala Lagoon, and culture/cricket in Galle. Special mention to manager Menaka who has good English and manages well. The chance to go inland to Kahanda Kanda sister hotel was most welcome, meeting George a bonus before an excellent dinner. Overall outstanding in the area, certainly highly recommended.

Excellent location close to the beach with a great relaxing pool, Asian/modern deco, spacious rooms with balcony or terras and good food. Excellent starting point for a whale tour or a visit to Galle.

We recently enjoyed a very enjoyable stay at KK Beach. We stayed in the penthouse suite, which was very large and comfortable, with amazing views out over the ocean. The downstairs bar and lobby is extremely peaceful and comfortable and we enjoyed playing cards down there with some cocktails! The hotel is a perfect location to visit nearby Galle, whilst having a sense of peace and quiet away from the town. The hotel’s gardens run right up to the beach, which made relaxing on a sun lounger with a book a very enjoyable experience. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and we were well looked after by manager Menaka and his team. We also really enjoyed the company of garden manager Kasun, who always had a smile on his face and took us along the beach to visit a nearby turtle sanctuary and hospital.
