This is our second visit and we again teally enjoyed our stay. The staff are good and Dreick, the chef has gone through alot of effort to cater for my 88year old grandmother who is on a very strict diet. The food was excellent and we could really just relax. Everyone enjoyed the pool in the heat. Bruce was always...

The drive to B.L.K. was worth the effort by all means. Our expectations were fully met. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the very comfortable cottage. We thought the shower was a real treat - the feeling of being outside. The veranda was spacious with a unique view. We did not mind being off-line for a couple of days -...

A 5 star experience all round. Derek's food is sublime, Bruce as a guide was not only very knowledgeable but helped deepen the bush experience. The grandeur of the setting is matched with the style and artistry of the lodge.

Bosch Luys Kloof is a place where you have to take some effort to get and that is probably one of the reasons this is such a unique place to be: the ride through the Seweweekspoort and along a narrow, spectacular dirt road to BLK itself is worth a trip. And then once you have arrived, everything is perfect: extremely...

We spent a few days at the lodge in August to celebrate a big Birthday. The whole big family, most of us flew in from Germany, gathered at this unique and hidden gem. Driving there is already pure joy with breathtaking scenery. At arrival we were welcomed by the warmhearted owners Gerhard and Ans and the magnificent team. The lodge...

Bosch Luys Kloof came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. The drive through the Seweweekspoort was memorable, the light was right and rock formations impressive. The road from the gate down to the reserve is dramatic with a fantastic view across the mountains towards Prince Albert and the Gamka Dam. Stop, take a picture and don't forget to apply your handbrake!...

I must qualify that our recent visit was our second visit to Bosch Luys Kloof. Our first visit was 2 years ago and was based on the recommendation of a friend. We loved it then so that my wife organised her birthday to be held there this year. We were a group of 24 including a number of small children....
