We ate here on a Saturday evening. The meal was OK - staff were very nice , and explained their new dining rules well, but food was a little bit average. Food came out very quick but it all felt a little bit rushed.

Called into the restaurant today On a recommendation when my daughters and I were in the area. It didn’t disappoint. Tables Really well organised to deal with social distancing, hand sanitiser available and toilets spotless. Food excellent, staff polite and efficient. Brilliant, can’t recommend enough hope I can call again soon.

just had our fourth visit to the cross square. once again I can't praise this hotel and staff enough. every one of our party ( 8 persons) agreed.I would like to take this oppertunity to praise the excellent staff at the Cross Square. nothing was too much trouble for them. It was my sisters birthday, I arrive early to set a few things up and the help from the staff was brilliant. they helped decorate the room, provide ice buckets and glasses for chammpers in the room, after a great lunch they came out with the cake. we had brought ordinary boring candles but the staff provided a big sparkler, brilliant. As you might expect we got boisterious as the day/night wore on but at all times the staff could not have been more friendly. Even the next morning the at breakfast the staff asked how we enoughed ourselves and provided a wonderful breakfast The owners of the holiday should be very proud of their staff, they are a credit to the hotel and they are reason enough for all to be planning another return visit.
