This family run friendly B&B is situated high up above Matlock with superb views. Excellent breakfast and kind hospitality. If walking, or cycling up to it or need to go out to eat without transport though, its very high up several hairpin roads. Depends on how much you need to prove your fitness level!

Stayed here on Saturday March 4th for my husbands birthday after reading the good reviews. We were not disappointed! Friendly check-in and freshly brewed coffee and cake offered (delicious). Room was suitable for our stay and also had tea and coffee making facilities and had everything we required. I had booked Maazi for our evening meal, also based on the...

Had a 1 night stay recently paid for by our Daughter & family for our Ruby Anniversary. The place is up a steep hill, not for the faint hearted, but on a clear day the scenery is fantastic so its worth it. We arrived about 3pm & were greeted by the Hostess who showed us to our room, our daughter...

Arrived late on Saturday & stayed in the Derwent suite with my fiance & our 21 month old daughter. Its the best B&B room I've ever stayed in, a luxurious en suite, a gorgeous comfy bed & to be honest, we came for some peace & quiet & a decent night's sleep which is what we got. John welcomed us...

This B and B was well run, we were welcomed with a pot of freshly brewed tea, and a slice of homemade cake. The room was clean, bright and perfectly stocked with homemade shortbread and a cafetiere with proper coffee, perfect for a coffee snob like myself. The breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and locally sourced with many options available....
