We spent 4 nights in this lovely guest house and had a wonderful break, the COVID measures taken were sensible and we felt very safe at all times. We had 2 rooms that were both very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The rooms had a great selection of free tea, coffee and biscuits (including gluten free!) and a selection of reasonably priced water and snacks in the little fridge. We also enjoyed the little touches such as coffee/tea and cake on arrival. The hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive and provided excellent service and a very good breakfast. The guest house is also well located, there are plenty of things to do in the local area and it is only a short walk to a number of very good restaurants.

Just returned from a weekend at Glendon Guest House with friends. This was my 3rd visit and yet again it did not disappoint. Adrian and Damien were, as ever, excellent hosts. We were greeted on arrival with delicious homemade scones with jam and cream to accompany our tea / coffee. The rooms were as always spotless and Damien explained the COVID measures they had put in place and at all times was very respectful of our safety. As a party of 5 we had the guesthouse to ourselves so could use the guest lounge whenever we wanted which was fabulous. Adrian's breakfasts were as amazing as on my previous visits and Damien provided table service for all the available items. You could not pick a better guest house to stay in. I will be back - and I am sure my friends will be too. A real gem of a guest house.

Location is perfect right in the centre of town, but it’s all the finishing touches that make it so delightful. The lantern is glittering outside in the dark, the lovely cake waiting for you in your room. It’s a gem

We have just returned from two nights at Glendon and I am so happy that we chose to stay here! The guest house is in a lovely old building and the rooms are very tastefully decorated and beds very comfortable. But more importantly the owners are incredibly accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. We had advised of our dietary requirements in advance (vegan) and they had really gone out of their way to provide us with everything we could need. They had even made vegan flapjacks for our arrival, plus oat milk in the room for our coffee! Their attention to detail with regard safety procedures for Covid-19 were excellent and made me feel very safe. Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)
