This was my third visit. My meal was excellent and served by Carolina who was bright and enthusiastic. We chose to sit in the dog-friendly area near the bar and enjoyed the whole atmosphere. perhaps it might be time to refurbish some of the well worn chairs?? a very minor criticism!

Booking of 19 due any minute so landlord took our order asap and rushed it for us. Steak in ale pie was delicious, as was scampi. Kids menu great and included pudding. Dogs get treats...

Having stopped here before for coffee and cake with our previous dogs,we decided we would try a lunchtime meal with our dog Jane and enjoy the company of other people and their dogs. The lady of the pub (Carolina) is an excellent host especially towards everybodys dogs. The food served was exceptionally good for a lunchtime menu and portions were...

We stayed in mid-March. Things didn't start well when we were told the kitchen would be closed the next morning so we'd have to go elsewhere for breakfast (to be fair, they suggested a couple of very nearby alternatives). However, other than this, our welcome was fine, and our room was nice and large. We had dinner in the restaurant,...
