Had a lovely reasonable priced lunch. We had our pet with us and the bar was dog friendly so that’s a big plus’s for us as it’s not easy to find eatery that allow dogs.Great helpful staff free off street car park for 2 hours so plenty of time to explore beautiful Bakewell definitely recommend

We visited The Castle Inn on 11th June. The staff were very attentive and the beer was a well kept pint of Timmy Taylors Landlord. They were on top of all the Covid protocols and the pub felt very safe from a socially distanced standpoint. Don't forget to register your vehicle when parking. Would definitely go back.

An unexpected break in restrictions allowed us to complete a visit after booking 18 months previously. We arrived at the due time and we were greeted with open arms so to speak. Friendly team vibrant and chatty perfect hosts clean room and perfect town centre location. Food good as advertised vegan options available also. And great for the dogs too as there was a large area we could take them into also. Very clean in all areas with emphasis on keeping everything in top condition ready for the customers of who we included ourselves.
