Enjoyable weekend away, accommodation clean and pleasant staff all friendly and helpful. Had dinner in restaurant first night all good and nice atmosphere. It should be noted that this is an old building and that the floors are a little uneven in places. Our room was an example of this and you may feel you've had a drink to many...

Spent a few days here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hotel is quaint like being in an Agatha Christie Novel. It was spotless, very warm and every member of staff was friendly and very helpful. Had a really good deal for 2 nights b&b plus one evening meal. Really liked the room as a great view of the high street. Parking ok, breakfast ok and staff good. Dinner on the first night was less than perfect but after feedback to the manager the meal on the second night was much better. February in Bakewell is...

Great location, lovely clean room, really nice food and very helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't fault it. It was our first visit to Bakewell even though we only live an hour away, what a great place it is, great base and some nice pubs.

We visited the Rutland Arms last March and upon returning home received an offer to return in January or February. I rebooked to return in February, booking a four-poster room. The room was beautiful, spacious and immaculate. The room we stayed in last year was smaller but also immaculate. Both rooms we have stayed in have had front facing views,...
