Spent a lovely weekend in Bakewell at the Sleep Lodge (Jason Lewis suite). Warmly welcomed and a very comfortable room with everything you need for a semi-self catering mini break. Well stocked kitchenette, wonderful walk in shower, super comfortable bed, huge tv (with Netflix!) and best of all a lovely view over Bakewell. Quick downhill walk into town. Had dinner at The Manners, and takeaways from Ricci’s and Raja’s - both excellent. It was a last minute decision to go to the Peak District and were so glad we went to Bakewell and stayed the Sleep Lodge.

Really comfortable roomy with small dining table fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom, plenty of drawers and wardrobe space if needed even iron and board, plenty of tea coffee etc with top ups if needed. Just a five min walk downhill to centre maybe ten back up manageable hill. Helpful staff if needed.

Our visit got off to a great start with a warm welcome from Linda, a lovely friendly host, always ready to help and give advice,i n fact all the staff we met came across as friendly and helpful. Our room - No. 6 a one bedroom apartment - was perfect for us. Roomy with plenty of storage space, warm and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Just a 5 minute walk to the lovely town centre and yet so quiet - an ideal spot offering beautiful views. I would not hesitate to recommend The Sleep Lodge to others.
