It was my husbands & I first holiday in the Peak District. I saw hazel cottage on line, it sounded just the perfect get away for us. When we got to hazel cottage it was so much more than we could have hoped for. It was home from home, lovely touches such as chocolates wine on ice and a pint...

Had a few days off between a work trip to the UK decided to spend a few days in the Peak District chilling out and spending time with family. Stayed here for 3 nights with my Aunt and Uncle and their dog. This is a very quaint little cottage with the most amazing original features. However the owners have obviously...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft cottage. The rural location was perfect with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside! The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and is well equipped with everything you need. We loved the underfloor heating and the wood burning stove! We visited Castleton, Bakewell and Stanage Edge during our stay. So many walks to...

This is an excellent cottage in a superb location. Under floor heating makes this cottage very smug even in the coldest weather. Such lovely touches such as milk, coffee, tea and biscuits left for use. Washing machine, good sized cooker and microwave and dishwasher make for an easy stay. Bathroom is very spacious, with fluffy white towels provided. Will definitely...

Jasmine Cottage is quaint and comfortable and situated on a steep bank in the very pretty village of Winster. The inglenook fireplace is a real feature and the cottage has many original features. The newly fitted bathroom is wonderful and luxurious. We had a very pleasant 3 night stay and found the location excellent. The cottage has a few aspects...

2 adults & 1 teenager visited for a week. The pictures on the owner's website don't do it justice. Spacious, comfortable, very well equipped, deep bath (perfect after a day out), excellent location to see the local sights, quiet (you'll only know that someone else is staying because of the extra cars). The weather was earm enough for us not...

Ideal spot to show off the glories of Derbyshire to a visiting American friend. Walking? Choose the flat trails or the up and down dales. Touristing? Chatsworth, Bolsover, Hardwick, Haddon. Eating? Church Inn, Cock and Pullet to name but 2. After all that, home to well-equipped and supplied Byre Cottage to relax and admire the views and the cows.

We spent a lovely 4 night break in Byre cottage at the end of April. The cottage was so cosy and warm even though the weather was not kind to us.
