I'm a fan of B&B hotels, and a good one is hard to find in the UK. The ambiance of this place is great. The setting is tastefully done and just feels very homely and cosy. It is a few minutes’ walk from the central place and just 45 minutes from the popular Sheffield, Buxton, Chatsworth house and Matlock. The...

Excellent two night stay. Room and ensuite were fine and the cooked breakfast was a good start to the day - good quality ingredients. Parking in Bakewell is difficult, but Melbourne House does has parking spaces. Location in the Town is also very convenient. I would recommend Melbourne House.

Picked Melbourne House & Easthorpe as it is in a great location to the center of Bakewell. The hosts are nice and friendly and always happy to help. The room (room 1 top floor of Easthorpe) was lovely. Nice...
