Great hotel let down by lack of air conditioning to cool room in summer. On entering room it was hot and stuffy although the window was open the three inches that it was allowed. Because the room was so hot I had to leave the window open and was then kept awake until about t2 am by trains passing and the heat of the room. Who ever signed this hotel off with out air con has made a grave mistake which I'm sure will cause lots of complaints in the summer months. The restaurant was okay apart from the service. I was shown to my table and served a drink by the duty manager, but after 10 minutes I had to shout the waitress for mu order as she kept walking right past me. The sirloin was the usual over cooked piece of chewy rubber. I asked for medium but got well done to rubber boot. No one asked if my meal was okay. Next time it will be the chip shop

The room is like a sauner, the prison window only opens 1 inch and holds a steady 26-27 degrees, barely slept and ive had about 30 cold showers in 4 days, had to keep my liquids in a cold bath, only positive both my arms feel jacked because ive had to manually fan myself, felt more like survival than a stay

A very good experience with a very good and secure process on arrival. A very friendly receptionist who made me feel welcome and comfortable despite the Covid measures in place. My only criticism around my stay is that the room was hot. A fan would be a good addition to the bedrooms.

No way of cooling the room. Had to open window at night and endure passing trains every half hour waking us up. Not up to Premier Inns usual standard. No mention of the "Good night Guarantee" at reception. Does it still exist? I would have instigated this if I had been told. Don't staff have to inform you when checking in anymore?

No complaints at all with the Chesterfield North hotel. However we booked a 4 night stay at Marlow a few weeks ago and this was cancelled just before we arrived,The reason given was a plumbing issue with the room.No mention of arranging a plumber to call out and no suggestions from the staff member to help us find alternative accommodation. In fact the staff member was very off hand to my wife.We found another hotel ourselves and have been offered a £30 gift voucher from Premier Inn. The review below relates to Chesterfield. Marlow would be zero.
