Seen other comments where people are expecting because it is Marco Pierre White it is going to be a 5 star hotel with outstanding food. It isn't that but i don't think that is what he is trying to achieve. This is very much work in progress. unfortunately didn't stay in the main house but room was adequate and value...

My partner and I have just returned from a night away at the Rudloe Arms and we cannot recommend the hotel enough. From start to finish our stay was relaxing and everything about it was 5 star. Unlike other reviews, check in was so quick and easy. We stayed in a Deluxe room in the main house which was very...

My husband and I were planning to visit our son in Bristol and I found this hotel on wowcher offering dinner bed and breakfast for an great price but when it came to booking it we had hassle, they apparently had no rooms for our dates via the wowcher deal but when I emailed;the room suddenly materialised! I contacted the...

I booked this hotel for a three night stay as a treat for my fiancée over the Easter break. We both work really hard, and I wanted somewhere where we could relax and have easy access to Bath. The strengths of the hotel: 1. A lot of effort has clearly been put into the grounds. Whilst there is still work...

I don't think I have ever heard the word 'no' so much at any hotel! The receptionist was extremely rude and not at all accommodating, the room was very run down and needed revamping with cracks in the walls, the shower screen hanging off the wall and a very uncomfortable bed. We were told the last orders at the hotel...

Again, I take issue with Trip Advisor over the rating system, as I would have rated this establishment as good but not very good so I have to go with average considering the issues we had. I have a few gripes with this place and my main is to do with the inflexibility of the staff. I asked for scrambled...

We stayed here in a few weeks ago for our anniversary - The place looked lovely upon arrival and we were greeted with an upgrade on our bedroom to the room with the best views in the main building which was beautiful. However for £95 a night you would have at least expected a TV & Kettle in our room....

The old house is glorious in it's beautifully placed eclectic colle tion of art and curios. The landscaping in the paddocks with the walls and log fencing was interesting and the little shepherds huts were gorgeous. The breakast menu never changed in the 4 days we were there but wasn't a problem as it catered for all tastes. On arrival...

Stayed for one night on a Saturday. Liked the hotel and decor very much and the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the main reasons you stay here is for the food. We dined in the restaurant on the Saturday night and booked our meal for 8.00pm. We deciding what we wanted to eat after looking at the...

I can understand why people either love or hate this place. It depends on how you react to one man's singular vision. I was upgraded to room 3 which was vast and sumptuous with a huge bathroom. All good. The original art was quirky, which I also liked, but I was less fond of the images of rubber clad females....
