Stayed for two nights 23/24 March on a Groupon deal. Excellent stay, staff, room, food, location, first class. Stayed in room in main building, full of character with view over courtyard and gardens. Cannot fault our stay.

My husband arranged the lunch booking for 18 people. The staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given our own beautiful, light, room. The table was tastefully set with snowy white linen. The food was excellent. The waiters were discreetly attentive. The owners are obviously keen on art and there were some lovely art nouveau-style paintings...

We were 2 friends exploring the area prior to school hols. We had a superb meal on our first night and loved the dining room and the fun-filled Maitre and his team. Due to a wedding fair that day, the hotel was full of beautiful vases of flowers. Our deal incl. processco and cake and breakfasts too = lovely. Very...

We booked the break through Secret Escapes which in the past have been very good. However, this one was somewhat of a disappointment. It started off well as the staff at reception were most helpful and friendly, this was followed by a welcomimg glass of prosseco and canapes. That's the good bit,now the bad, well the room was rather small (lovely views over...

We were pleased with most of this hotel, but we were disappointed by the bedroom (room 24). The room was in an annex - never a good thing. It was reasonably sized, but the furniture looked cheap and had seen better days. The bathroom was a good size, but, again, dated. The shower was not very powerful and the toilet...

We booked our break through Secret escapes. We stayed in the Garden House which isn't attached to the hotel, so was glad that we had fine weather. Our break included one dinner in the restaurant, the food was excellent. Whilst having a drink in the Bar/Brasserie a member of staff said how busy they were going to be the next...

Located in a grand building and picturesque surroundings. Stayed here overnight. But staff are a inexperienced and it shows.... right from addressing customers to serving breakfast, lacks a certain finesse and attention to detail. Rooms are basic and a bit dated.. Breakfast was delayed and recovered a call promptly at the check out time to warn that we will be...

As a group of 10 long-standing friends we don't get together that often, so when we do is always special. Guyer's Hotel helped make our latest rendez-vous extra nice, with lovely rooms and fantastic food. What really singled it out, however, was its superb staff. They truly were the nicest bunch of people and so friendly and helpful. Thank you!
