I stayed one night on my way to meet up with family and friends nearby. A very quiet location a short distance outside the town, with a warm welcome and a friendly host - Barbara. Very pleased with the room, which was clean and well-equipped. I had some work to do on my laptop and the free Wi-Fi worked a...

We've been staying at Great Ashley House at least 8 times since 2004 - and it remains our favorite B&B in the whole of the UK. You cannot beat the traditional British breakfast, the superb homely accomodation, and welcome of Barbera and Chris. This is rural England at its best, country fare with a wonderful garden.

A wonderful relaxing stay for my husband and I. Directions were spot on. Very welcoming and "home from home". Lovely rural setting (f you like rural) with Bradford on Avon about a five minute drive away. Nice to be surrounded by countryside. The garden was lovely complete with chickens! Room was ideal with a huge en-suite! Breakfasts were scrummy. Would...

I'm finding this a difficult review to write as there were some pros and cons that I guess average out. The location is rural (very rural) and the single track road over the last stretch is nerve wracking (we had to reverse for a stretch on 1 occasion). It's 8-10 minutes to Bradford on Avon and 15 or so to...

Arrived to stay here for a night whilst travelling down South. I had received e-mails to confirm all the arrangements and communication had been good. Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that they had mixed up the dates, in fact I thought at one point that I had arrived at the wrong house such was the confused way that...

My husband and I have just spent a weekend staying here to attend a wedding and i would recommend this place to anyone. Barbara and Chris are really welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast taken in the conservatory overlooking the garden is very pleasant. Barbara even took us to the church for the wedding to save us the...

We recently travelled down for a friends wedding and stayed with Barbara and Chris. You felt instantly at home it was hidden away but perfect for us where the wedding reception was being held. The rooms were so reasonable compared to the what all my other friends were paying and we seemed to have the nicest venue too. Wish we...
