Booked for a long weekend away, in a magpie lodge, we were upgraded to a kingfisher lodge. The lodge itself was nice and fairly modern, beds comfortable, but unfortunately it did smell musty/damp inside. This park is not suitable if you have small children as there is a lot of lakes and nothing on site to entertain children (it does... More

Just returned home from a week here. The place is lovely and peaceful and although there are fishing lakes I didn't see a lot of fishing going on, I think most people just wanted to get away from it all. Was made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived, there is a bar there which is dog friendly although... More

Just got back today from Hunter's Moon after our second visit and we had a fantastic quiet, relaxing time. We are mature Mother and Daughter and this time stayed in a two bedroom cabin which suited us much better. It was very clean and very tidy again with everything we needed. As well travelled people we always check the beds... More

On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Sandie who made us very welcome. It was a shame that the clubhouse wasn't open as we had planned to have some lunch whilst waiting for our lodge, but luckily we didn't have to wait for our keys and could go straight to our lodge and we had food and beverages with... We stayed here for 4 nights in February. On arrival, I went into the 'reception' area (the pub onsite) and was greeted with around 6 or 7 youths drinking, swearing and talking about inappropriate things. As a young woman on her own, I didn't feel comfortable with this at all. After around five minutes of waiting, the owner came to... More

Stayed here for a short break with a dog. Nice pretty location with lovely countryside walks. Very close to Warminster town centre and the Longleat safari park. Accommodation is adequate but needs updating outside and a thorough clean inside. But all in all a good base for visiting the area and you can fish on-site too!

We just got back from a couple of nights staying in Beaver Lodge (1) at Hunter Moon. The location is wonderful, very quite and just what we were looking for, the owner/managers were also very friendly and welcoming, which is always a bonus. Seems to be a great place to fish, we don't fish ourselves but we saw some guy... More

we stayed for 4 nights with our baby and had a truly wonderful time. The lodge was simple and clean and located right on a lake which was home to a large number of ducks. There is a lovely bar/restaurant on site which although we only visited once we had a fantastic meal in a warm comfortable setting. The owners... More

Set around a beautiful lake, these log cabins have all you need for a break away eg fridge, cooker, shower etc etc. greeted on arrival by sandy who couldn't make us more welcome, she showed us to our lodge, and told us to ask if we needed anything. There is a restaurant and bar on site with some lovely real... More
