Really lovely looking village pub.... we popped in during a walk through the Wylye Very shocked that the staff were washing glasses by hand. The bar was full of dirty glasses. This is so unhygienic in this day and age. A real environmental health issue drying glasses with a tea towel.

My brother finished work early Easter Saturday and took Mother and I out for lunch at the dove. The waitresses were lovely and mine and my brother's food was lovely. My Mother's food was not, she had fish pie. Well it was cold and the prawn in the middle was frozen. So I went and got a waitresse who apologised...

We chose this inn based in some part to the reviews on Trip Advisor and for the location in Wiltshire. Our accommodation was in part of a cottage adjacent to the main building. The bed room and bathroom were both excellent. the facilities included Sky TV as well as a very large selection of Teas and Coffees. The bathroom included...

Saw the signpost for The Dove and gave it a try. Very glad we did. The pub is nice and warm with a choice of seating - we could have sat outside as it was mild, but sat in the conservatory area in the sun. It became quite busy which surprised us on a Monday lunchtime (speaks volumes about the...

I stay away with work alot so seem to find myself staying in hotels from time to time. I was warned that Warminster, as a garrison town, can be a little "hit and miss" from a hotel point of view so looked elsewhere. Bath, lovely though it is, is a good 30 miles to the north, Salisbury also being a...

Really great Sunday lunch! Very friendly staff, who made easily managed with what seemed to be a very busy service! We had a large group and all the food came out perfect with no one having to wait! There was nothing on the menu I wouldn't recommend as between us we tried a lot! But in particular the rib eye...

A visit on New Years day to a restaurant or pub tends to result in expectations not met, but at the Dove for lunch on 2017's first day of the year both food and service as well as atmosphere were all excellent. No shortened menu here as you might expect but a full normal offering as well as a good...
