Absolutely loved staying here. Were greeted by friendly people for our whole stay felt like home from home. As we were leaving early for Longleat the following morning we had an earlier than advertised breakfast brought to us by an absolutely lovely man from South Africa I can't praise it enough.

I have been driving past the sign for this pub for some time but finally dropped in during a stressful rainy family trip with the dog. It was brilliant! A warm welcome for us and the pooch, a delicious lunch with super puddings. We will definitely come back again and would thoroughly recommend it to A36 travellers or locals!

We were very lucky to come across this charming English Inn and wholeheartedly recommend it to all. The owner welcomed us at a late hour on Sunday and we immediately felt at home. After some excellent sandwiches and a glass of the best Cornish gin we had a restful night and a superb cooked breakfast. The river and the views...

Spotted the sign for this on the main road and thought we would give it a go. Glad we did. Very welcoming. Menu had plenty of choice, service was good and food excellent. Hit the spot. We felt it was great value.

Arrived at the Prince Leopold to a warm welcome and shown to our decent sized room. The room itself was nice and the bed proved to be very comfortable with fairly firm pillows. We had dinner in the restaurant and found ourselves blown away by the quality and value of the food. The staff were all extremely friendly and chatty...

We decided to overnight here before attending an event in Salisbury the next day. We had booked and were provided with a twin room (Room 2). It was much smaller than we had hoped for with limited storage space and no dressing table. However, it was fine for one night. The sheets and pillowslips were clean and crisp. The en-suite...

We had a superior room in June 15 which was a very comfortable and very quiet stay. The staff made us very welcome which extended to a most wonderful and peaceful breakfast over looking the river. The choice of breakfast was exceptional, everything that you could want for. Will be booking again. Thank you Prince Leopold Inn.

Fantastic!! We had our wedding reception here in June, the village location is very pretty and the stream that runs through the garden is beautiful. We arranged all this with Liza a while back and as promised Liza was true to her word and everything was perfect. The food (though chosen specific for our day) was immaculate and a credit...

Stopped at the Prince Leopold 2 weeks ago for one night. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food was superb and very filling, and served in very pleasant surroundings. The situation of the pub, right on the river was lovely and we were lucky enough that the weather was pleasant so we could sit in...
