Apparently under refurbishment for new owners and rumour has it that it will reopen 01/12/16. Hope it is as good as before. Lovely location set back off the main road in quiet village, beautiful garden room and riverside setting.

We called in here for lunch - totally at random - just off the road on our route to Bristol - what a very pleasant surprise! Lovely staff, great menu, tasty food and the chance to feed the fish in the river afterwards! What a lovely experience - we shall certainly call in again when we are on that route.

The Prince Leopold is a lovely, lively ( when we were there) restaurant/pub in Warminster which serves a wide range of food, mostly hearty pub grub. We were a group of 9 people and easily accommodated in a less noisy alcove. It was a very nice evening, the food was good and the service very pleasant. I can't exactly remember...

Stayed here for one night. In a small attractive quiet village about 4 miles from Warminster. Received an excellent, friendly welcome by staff. Check in was fast and efficient. Shown to our quirky room which was attractive if a little dated. Good facilities in the room and a nice modern TV. Free wi-fi also available. Had an excellent night's sleep in...

Down to Wiltshire for my birthday, and my partner chose this place. Inspired choice: quiet riverside location, neat clean rooms and wonderfully attentive and cheerful staff. OK, if you're a claustrophobe the shower in a cupboard might not be to your taste, but it was perfectly functional. Can't comment on the rest of the evening menu but the burger was...

Lovely riverside location but the rooms are very tired and the shower was useless. Food was ok , but considering we were sitting in a fairly empty restaurant, the wait was excessive. Staff friendly and helpful.

Made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door! Special mention to Ruth & Maddie whose customer service skills are second to none. Excellent food, comfortable room (we stayed two nights) and the most amazing shallow river at the bottom of the garden where you can feed the fish, bread supplied! So relaxing. Breakfasts were wonderful-I've never...

Ordered 2 ham sandwiches without mustard on granary bread. After 40 minutes they arrived on white bread. Sent them back. Waited another 25 minutes while the chef 'recreated' them. Apparently if something goes back you then go to the back of the queue! When they came they had mustard on them. Couldn't face another wait so scraped mustard off. The...

Lovely location, very friendly staff and good food. Stayed for one night, ate in the restaurant overlooking the stream running through the beer garden, all lovely. It's located in a quiet village which is nice for an evening stroll, some good walking around there too. The rooms are kept dated on purpose I believe to add to the charm of...

Excellent at everything she did. Maddy is polite, friendly, nice, small (couldn't reach the glasses), happy, positive, lucky. All in all 10/10 and a great hostess. Maddy was very attentive to all of our dietary needs, and we really really really really really really enjoyed her company.
