The Anchorage is always on our list of 'places to go' in Portstewart and it would be one of the places we go to fairly regularly. As always, last Friday at 6pm for a family meal didn't disappoint. We didn't book but got a table OK. The deal is 3 courses for the price of a main before a certain...

Arrived just before seven and the menu price depended on your chosen main dish. Had halloumi as starter followed by lasagne and skinny chips. Good cocktail menu. On the night we dined there was a nice mix of older patrons and young families. Speedy service and delicious desserts. Will be back .

I visited for one night for my boyfriends birthday in April, had never stayed in the area before and fancied a change! Absolutely loved this place! Receptionists at checkin (Vicky) and checkout (Tracey) were so friendly and helpful! The room (108) was really cosy , bathroom great and a nice touch to have bottled water and bathrobes in the room....

Called in for Sunday lunch, portions small, food quite boring. Having lived in Portstewart for many years I was really disappointed for my first time calling in. Can't fault the serving staff or the venue, decor etc, as these were spot on. The food was just uneventful, and not very much on the plate. You get that feeling of I...

Stated one night in the Anchorage over Easter. Not sure if it's worthy of 4 star status but it's fine for a short stay. The room was of adequate size but a bit dark with a small window. The bed was very large and comfortable and the facilities good. Breakfast was fine although the room was quite cold. Location is...

This is a very nice pub that serves excellant food ans great beers all at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and helpful and the premises are very clean. It sports large tv with an asortment of sports to view. It also has a very welcoming open fire which on a cold winters night is very welcoming in its self

I'm writing this from room 110 on Easter Saturday Night. Had a wonderful day walking, but am now exhausted. After no more than an average meal here, served by surly staff in a room full of cackling women I fell into a huge comfy bed. I could not only hear, but also feel the music from the attached night club....

I was very surprised at how nice the Anchorage Inn turned out to be. My friends and I had been in Portstewart for two days and decided to try the Anchorage Inn the last night at Portstewart, and wow it did not disappoint. Stevie and the entire staff at the Anchorage Inn took very good care of us. The rooms...
