Lovely wee spot to stay for a night away. The room was clean although we must have got a family room which made it very cramped with an extra single bed but as we were only staying for one night for a getaway with friends it wasn’t a big deal. The bar where we had breakfast was lovely and would be nice to sit in for a drink. The lady who checked us in and out was lovely and friendly (sorry we didn’t get your name.) The town itself is great but being a Sunday and sunny it was absolutely rammed with Sunday cruise drivers and holidayers queuing for ice creams.

Rooms are basic but bed was exceptionally comfortable. No frills, staff are very nice. Was not overly excited about the menu when I sat down for dinner but it deserves all the good reviews here. Fish and chips were delicious. Wine wasn’t great and only the quarter bottles available if you didn’t want to buy a big bottle which are horrible. My husband thought the pints of Guinness were excellent!

We spent an evening here with our family, children, granny and had a great time. The food was lovely but the service was special. Probably the best service we’ve had all holiday. Strongly recommend it.

Stayed two nights and enjoyed the ambience of the place and it's brilliant location within the town. Great spot to sit and people watch. Good food, comfortable bedrooms and friendly staff. Will return!

Just returned from a great weekend away at the anchorage Inn, the service was excellent and the hotel was very enjoyable, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hanna in reception was lovely and a very nice young lady, and thanks to clare behind the bar for putting up with 21 roudys from Belfast, look forward to returning again in the future, thanks for everything x
