Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are just back our first ever stay at Roe Park Resort. We had a lovely time. On arrival the staff were so welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. We stayed in one of the suites, and it was so spacious and had lovely views. There was a good choice of food on the menu, well presented, again by lovely staff. It is also so handy to Roe Valley Park, great for our favourite pastime, walking, although some challenging paths. Will definitely be returning. Thanks

Booked this hotel last minute for my son's birthday. We had a very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was lovely. Big thanks to Sharon at the reception, happen to mention that it was a surprise weekend treat for my son's birthday. And when we came back to our room after breakfast the next day, there was a card and a box of chocolates for him!

Really disappointed in our stay now where do I start , grim checkin lacking any customer skills no information on the facilities or times for breakfast etc The stay was a gift for valentines night from my son but absolutely no sign of valentines in the roe park infact as it was half term there were children everywhere bouncing on seats etc and the main area was covered in chocolate sweets and a complete mess The residents quiet area was a no go battle scene with kids running amuck and sweets threw everywhere We had travelled quite far and were told there was no room in the restaurant that evening for us, unbelievable! Then after voicing how ridiculous this is we were told they would fit us in at 9.30 pm really not good enough esp as I had spoken in mail the week previous to the roe park regarding valentines night and was not told to pre book. As the hotel is remote we had to drive to Limavady for food defo not the valentines night we had planned .The rooms are extremely dated and far too hot even after adjusting the thermo. There is complimentary tea/ coffee in the room but only one tea sachet one coffee sachet and one biscuit absolutely dire honestly. Breakfast was like an all inclusive low grade chaotic noisy experience the breakfast staff were all pleasant and helpful but queuing for breakfast in a noisy child filled area is again not respective of a valentines getaway. We didn’t get to use any of the facilities as again full of children The hallways were noisy with kids running wild and the hotel manger was up a few times obviously to try and restore order Several guests were vaping with no intervention from staff Obviously I have photos of all of this Defo do not book this hotel for a romantic break

Overall we stayed for 2 nights as a baby moon, stayed in luxury suite that had the benefit of having a jacuzzi bath that was sublime. The room was sizable and the shutters on windows made for a perfectly dark room for a great sleep. The spa treatments were fantastic and pedicure was a stand out one with loads of creams for softening. The gym was also fantastic and had basically 3 separate rooms of kit. We dined in the restaurant and tried different food and the lamb was exquisite; it fell off the bone. Would highly recommend.
