Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We’ve just had a fab night here, we met Hugh when we first arrived and we genuinely felt that we were being looked after, Naomi in the spa was also wonderful. All staff were friendly and helpful. Great food, comfy beds ❤️

I have to say that as frequent hotel user, my experience at the The Bushtown was exceptional. Took my partner away for a, relaxing evening, including a spa treatment. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was outstanding and the spa staff were tremendous 👌. Room was clean and well equipped and overall it was very good value for money. We will definitely be back.

Very rude management and staff, totally unhelpful……………………….cold water and very few towels, average location and mediocre hotel. Food is average at best and a limited menu. Save your money or go elsewhere, lots of nicer hotels with nice staff in the locality.

Late night check in 11-45 we were welcomed by a chatty young man. We were immediately impressed by the homely atmosphere of the place. The ground floor room was spacious and clean. It was nice to see photos in the hallway and rooms with local scenes. Self service breakfast welcomed by the friendly chef who had cooked it perfectly. Breakfast area was spacious and clean. Overall a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

We are just back from a weekend in your hotel.i do not like to be negative but aren't these forums to tell the truth ? The hotel is in need of a refurb but my goodness the staff in every aspect of the hotel are just amazing kind . Polite. Funny.and so welcoming. Food my god is amazing the spa although the treatment s are quite over priced (that's just our opinion ) the facilities are just lovely. Even though where the hotel is it is quite obvious that very few if any Catholic s visit. However we were welcomed and were not treated other than guests and that makes a hotel like the bushtown a very lovely hotel to stay. Thank you everyone for you're welcome and we will definitely visit again our daughter who has a disability was treated and given time n respect from all members of staff. And that ment the world x thank you . To end this review update the hotel trust us that's all it needs.you have the most amazing staff irrespectable of where the guests are from .be very proud for what you s are doing.God bless each and every one of you you are all amazing. Had a great few days away, the food is fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful and friendly. I love meeting and chatting to people. I have made many friends from around the North Coast and beyond. There is plenty of places to go and things to do with in a short distance of the hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The two Sunday carverys are highly regarded and reasonable priced. I've stayed in the Bushtown many time, and look forward to my next, and every time I've been I still feel as if You come as a guest and go home as a friend. Thanks to everyone and I will see you soon again.

A very large group of us booked for lunch mid week. We were very well looked after from the moment we arrived until we left a couple of hours later. The food was delicious, piping hot and plentiful. It was obvious that they were using top quality ingredients. I am looking forward to returning. Thanks everyone.

Stayed here with our grandchildren overnight. Plenty of parking checkin quick and friendly. Corridors to room was dreary bedrooms were ok Kids had a separate room off ours there was no curtains to black out their room as they were in bed first. Light from ours beamed through. Swimming pool was a hit as was the dinner that night. Good food had by all. Breakfast was buffet style plenty of choice. Only problem was the windows were in need of some TLC round the frames. Another bigger problem was the flat roof outside our bedroom window think it might be over the kitchen. Desperately needs fixing covered in plastic and buckets on it obviously leaking but into where. While it was ok Hotel don’t think we would go back. Needs work done away from reception and downstairs areas that have been refurbished.

The Bushtown hotel is located in an ideal location for visiting the Antrim coast. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. I enjoyed the spa and pool experience both last night and this morning. The food in the restaurant last night was superb plus the breakfast this morning. Plenty of safe free parking. Our experience here is nothing short of 5 star but sadly we leave today but most certainly will be back again . John/Mary

We attended the Bushtown for their amazing Carvery on Sunday and it was utterly outstanding. Great food, attentive staff and the best selection of food on offer in the area. You would be mad to miss it!
