Had 3 nights here with my family at Easter. Great location with the backdrop of the Mourne mountains and the lovely Mourne coast. We were well looked after by Mairead and her team. Quiet, clean, with a great breakfast.

Very pleasant stay in clean room. After all day-long trekking in mountains bath and comfortable bed were everything I needed. In the morning delicious home made breakfast with never-ending additional toasts :-) Thank you for jar of orange marmolade. Guest from Poland.

I always write what I think is a very honest review and I've thought long and hard about this one and the grading that I've given it, but I feel that I have to warn other families. This lady does an amazing job and the set up could be so good. She is so nice that you don't want to...

Last month a group of 12 of us stayed at the lodge. The owner was so accomodating. She made each of us very comfortable and was not bothered by how many teenagers we had with us. She even made us homemade dessert one night which was delicious, i must say. The kitchen and lounge area are extremely cozy with a...

Fourth time of staying , this time in a family group of 13. Everyone's room requests were catered for. As a family of 3, we can recommend our favourite room, Room 1. The whole place is very relaxed with a spacious communal room to mix and self-cater. Mairead and her team are very welcoming and ensured all went smoothly. We...

What a privilege it was to have your family stay with us, especially your son and daughter who were so modest about their achievements! Thank you for this wonderful review. It was a busy weekend for us but we were so happy that you felt well catered for. Hope we will see you in the future!

Thank you for this excellent review. It all helps to develop our community business. While it was a busy weekend for us, the weather was pleasant and I know you all enjoyed an evening by the barbeque and in the Mourne moonlight! Do visit us again and tell your friends.

We stayed here with our dog and it was amazing. Mairead is a wonderful host. Never had a host make us so at home. Every community needs a person like her. The dog loves being in the heart of the mountains. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.
