Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent a night at the Hotel with my wife. The room was gorgeous, with incredible views of the sea.We dined in the bar area which was lovely and comfortable, the food was delicious and we had a couple of the best Mojitos ever,Our server Scott was a complete gem,Nothing was too much trouble for him.We had a great sleep in a big comfy bed and a delicious breakfast. The decor is pretty busy and camp..Not for everyone, but I loved it.We will definitely return.

We stayed here for an overnight break in early November. The bar area is very comfortable with efficient and friendly service.Lovely decor in the bar and we very much enjoyed our breakfast the following morning. We stayed in room 16 which is in a strange isolated position at the back of the hotel with an awful view. The decor is very strong terracotta and green with black furniture. There was too much furniture in the room and the decor added to the cluttered feel.Alternatively the bathroom was beige on beige. Not sure I would return other than for a drink or cocktail, did not feel relaxed in the room.

Good afternoon CandSF Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, I will be sure to pass on your comments to the team. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t like the decor of the room. All of our rooms are individually decorated with different colour schemes so no two rooms are the same, if you would like to return we could certainly allocate you another room that would be more to your taste. Best of luck and we hope to see you again soon. Many Thanks Tony Deputy GM

Went here for Sunday Lunch. My third time to go for lunch and it was delicious. Highly recommended. Also the decor is beautiful and seats are comfortable. My only quibble is the price of the drink. I will go again as the food is excellent but I will drink only water. I’ll have my glass of wine when I go home as I can buy a bottle of good chardonnay for the cost of a glass in this restaurant! Such a pity as I love it otherwise.

This boutique hotel was excellent. Updated and modern, with all the amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious room, and bathroom. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met, and we enjoyed our stay. The little touches like fluffy bathrobes, slippers, and chilled bottles of still water waiting for us, were above and beyond. Right on the beach, and quite close to attractions like Bushmills and the Giants Causeway. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended!!

We loved our stay here it was an amazing experience and truly relaxing . From arrival and check in we were made to feel welcome . The room surpassed expectations, fabulous bed and luxurious bedding . Attractive decor and room details , water coffee and tea facilities and toiletries . Robes and slippers were in the wardrobe and even a pen and cute notepad. We then went to the bar some drinks as family were joining us , we were pleasantly surprised by the bar prices , drinks were cheaper then many local bars and were presented beautifully in sparkling clean glasses. The staff were very attentive and friendly they made us feel at home very quickly. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch . The breakfast choice was very good and we tried the traditional Ulster fry , everything was first class and no grease anywhere . The next day I chose the lighter scrambled eggs option which was also excellent . Lunch was a highlight and the food standard was top notch , again prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food . Thanks to all the staff the bar manager for allowing us to taste the cocktail of the week. The reception and waiting staff and the manageress Joanne who made us feel very valued guests . We will always stay here when we go to Portrush

Called yesterday to see the newest hotel in Portrush we had heard people talking about and weren’t disappointed. We were welcomed by the lovely Lauren who served us coffee and drinks and after a brief chat had up wanting to come back again. The decor is spectacular with heavy, luxurious black and gold curtains and eye catching artwork. The views are amazing. Menu looks really good too. There is nowhere like Elephant Rock in Portrush. Looking forward to coming back to stay on our next weekend away.

This is a wonderful new addition to Portrush. The other hotels are really going to have to up their game. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with both baths and huge walk in showers. Guests’ every need has been thought of. Extremely comfy beds, great towels. Could get a better brand of toilet paper though! Loved the quirky furnishings. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent.
