Stayed with 9 friends on a golf trip and were very pleased with hotel. Very comfortable with friendly staff and good breakfast. A little out of town but only a short cab ride from the Harbour where the Portrush night life is to be found. Would recommend this as a good base for anyone wanting to visit Portrush.

This is at least my 4th trip to Port Rush when I've stayed at the Magherabuoy. It is a very good hotel, a surprising value in Northern Ireland. The rooms are clean and modern with functional and free Wifi. On this last trip I stayed for a week, and the cleaning staff was efficient. The Front Desk service is exceptionally...

Stayed for two nights with my sister and friend, we had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious and modern with everything we needed. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast! My only suggestion would be to have an entertainment programme throughout the week, the hotel was empty in the evenings with most guests going into...

Visited here with my extended family for a celebration. There were plenty of tables, facilities clean and tidy. The food was superb. I had the chilli chicken pasta penne - lovely and only £9.95. Plenty of car parking and the hotel staff were lovely. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but that was because we were...

Stayed here on a Saturday night. Upon arrival reception staff were very friendly and got us checked in quickly. The room was of a high standard and spotless, to my surprise WiFi actually worked in the bedrooms which can be somewhat of a rare thing these days. We had a few drinks in the bar, it was quiet and had...

Stayed here for one night when attending a wedding in Portrush. The room was large and very clean. Bathroom was very clean, although our shower tended to leak all over the bathroom floor. The breakfast was fantastic - perfect to cure any hangover!

Dear Luvs3travel01, Thank you for the review of your stay at Magherabuoy. Sorry to hear you found your shower leaked, our showers are pretty powerful and if the panel isn't closed tightly I can understand how that might happen. Hopefully it didn't detract too much from your overall experience, although I appreciate how the seemingly small points can make all...
