Stayed at Shola on an overnight for the first time recently. This is a beautiful small intimate B&B in the country. We were met with a friendly smile and warm welcome. Sharon the owner offered us tea and coffee on arrival with home baked goodies which were lovely especially in front of a blazing fire - so good. The rooms...

We came to Shola in January. We were greeted with a warm smile and a blazing hearth, complete with a hot cup of tea and homemade treats. Comfy chairs and soft music were so welcome after a long drive. Our room was spacious with soaker tub and shower. The room was tastefully decorated and the corner niche was full of...

Stayed at Shola for one night on a January evening. Was curious what a B&B rated second in world last year would be like. Arrived later than expected due to a flat battery on my motorcycle, but was welcomed by Sharon on arrival and shown to the most lovely room after passing through the lovely hallways adorned with art work,...

We enjoyed a thoroughly warm and genuine welcome for our 2nd stay at Shola, and it was just as relaxing and charming as our first. The breakfasts remain a real treat and are worth the trip in themselves. We look forward to making this an annual visit.

What a truly relaxing break in Shola, Sharon was a delightful host, very welcoming and greeting us with a cup of tea! Our room was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and quiet. We were in the process of moving house when we stayed and it certainly helped us to relax. I'm sure we will return again, thank you Shola B and...

From the moment we arrived at Shola there was a real sense of being welcomed into someone's (beautiful!) home. On a cold and dark winters afternoon we were greeted with fresh tea and coffee and home baked bushmills fruit loaf. The place itself is immaculately clean with much thought given to every detail. Rooms have lovely touches like locally made...

Sharon and David were so welcoming. Lovely home made fruit cake, shortbread, and coffee on arrival. They went the extra mile, gave us a lift into Portrush, although it is walkable, provided wine glasses in bedroom without asking when she noticed we'd been using bathroom glasses. Lovely home made bread, granola. Attention to detail makes this venue so lovely. Lots...

Stay here- seriously, stay here! This place was just the cutest, quaintest, most charming b&b. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was fantastic. We stayed in the Garden room, which is seperate from the rest of the house and made for a private evening. The food is exceptional. My husband had the salmon breakfast and he said he had...
