I have stayed here on numerous occasions, each time better than the one before! My daughter came with me this time. We stayed in the appartment, the facilities are brilliant, the beds spotless and comfortable. We could have tea and coffee anytime we wanted, and we cooked in the well equipped kitchen each evening. But what's makes this hostel special...

The hostel is full of old world charm but is comfortable and cosy. It is set in one of the most beautiful and less known parts of Ireland. The village nearby has top class cafes and restaurants. I love this place.

Set in breathtaking surroundings its a fantastic base to explore the irish countryside. The host Liz is a special person, a storyteller by trade and has a heart of gold. The weekly music sessions are a wonderful mix of local and international cultures.

It's a lovely facility with all that you'll need to be comfortable. While there was music the night we arrived we fell asleep early and missed it. We did however have a lovely greeting with...

I attended Ballyeamon Barn on Saturday night with an Irish language group I'm a member of. The place was lovely with absolutely beautiful surroundings & Liz was extremely kind & welcoming. A fantastic host. Would recommend to anyone. Especially the talent night on a Saturday evening in which local musicians and artists gather to share their gift.

Guardians of the Wifi were evoked here, they spread their power across the barn. The hostel was clean from head to toe and the beds were fresh in their rows. There was an overwhelming sense of community for the wayward soul, the true love of Ireland will be something that you begin to know. Liz is so welcoming and wonderful,...

Definately stay here! Its so warm and welcoming, in a stunning landscape of trees, valleys and a few miles from the coast. I stayed in the apartment, which was really spacious, clean, warm and nice, with comfort and great atmosphere, and views of nature at its absolute finest! Thankyou so much for making my stay so memorable, enjoyable and relaxing

What a lovely place, the location, the views, the facilities, it was perfect for our large group. And Liz was such a welcoming and thoughtful hostess. She made sure we had all we needed and entertained us with her stories. For some of our group who had not been to the Glens before this was a lovely touch, on top...
