We stayed in a 5 bed room which was split over 2 level. All the beds were singles and the room was clean and some parts were showing a little wear and tear. Nothing to be worried about. It is just not a "NEW" place. Don't bother arriving early. The reception guy was not having any of that but that...

Nice and Warm Welcome with a fireplace going. Very nice big dorm rooms. Had a couple of convenient stores around the corner. Wi-Fi only available in the common areas. Parking is in an open area across the road.

It is a bed and not much else. Grumpy receptionist--make your own bed, if you are tall ask for normal bed and not a bunk bed. Just passing through as we were visiting Giants Causeway---so a good stop. Just don't expect anything above a bed and bathroom!!!

This hostel is a proper 1980s style youth hostel; everything is exactly the same as back in 'the old days'. The beds were uncomfortable and there is no atmosphere . No internet except for the lobby (more inconvenient than a necessity). On the other side the kitchen is the best I've seen in a hostel and the service is great....

We stayed at Mill Rest Youth Hostel for 2 nights in a very spacious private room, which was pleasant and clean. The facilities are good, staff friendly and there was a coal fire burning in the lounge every evening. The hostel itself was quiet but it's in the town centre so there's a lot of car noise. There's no parking...

Stayed here for our annual walking weekend last October. We are an all male (50 somethings) group planning on walking the giants causeway trail. Some of the blokes had not stayed at a hostel in years and they were all pleasantly surprised. Derek and his staff could not have been more helpful and were a font of local knowledge and...

We stayed an extra 3 nights we were so comfortable there. Dennis and Patrick couldn't have been nicer. We of course had the few normal young slobs that trashed the kitchen but it was quiet and Dennis went out of his way each evening to make nice cozy fire. The furnishings were not real comfortable and just the basics but...

We booked the ensuite triple room. It was very basic in furniture I think the cleaning was not enough. It was cold in the building and the shower was cold as well. No breakfast was provided. The staff wasn't very friendly and helpful. For that price I was expecting a little more!

This was a lovely little hostel in the town. It isn't too far (by foot or bus) from both the Giant's Causeway and the distillery. The common areas and kitchen were both nice, clean and spacious. The rooms were the highlight. The were very modern and welcome designed with a cool 'loft' upstairs in the room. The hostel was a...

I was there for 2 nights. It was very calm and I ended up alone in my 4-beds dorm. The owner let me in even if I arrived between 11:00 and 15:00 (normally closed), but I was just lucky he was around. Kitchen is nice. Lots of rules written all over the place ;) room was clean. Very close from...
