Had Sunday lunch at the Smugglers Inn and it was simply excellent. The food was straight forward and without unnecessary complications. Good hearty wholesome food, well cooked and served with a smile and great attention to detail. I had a starter of mushrooms cooked with strips of bacon and topped with bread crumbs. It was not the most wonderful dish...

Ate here last Wednesday as we were staying in the cottages at Ballylinny. Fantastic meal, really good steak and 'Champ' which I had not had for over 30 years. Good service, really nice welcome at reception, fantastic Irish coffee. A definite 'must visit' when in Bushmills.

Had lunch here. Lovely bar area - old and quaint. Food was excellent. Caesar salad with slices of chicken and the goujons meal was really tasty. Staff very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Prices were good. We would also recommend The Red Door cafe at Ballintoy Harbour on towards Ballycastle - lovely old cottage serving home made lunches and sweet...

We always make a point of stopping here for lunch whilst in the area and our latest visit did not disappoint. It is in a really good location near Giants Causeway and Carrick a rede rope bridge. We visited with our 2 young children and found the inn to be family friendly. Cosy surroundings, welcoming staff, food plentiful and tasty....

Smugglers Inn is a lovely place to stay. Great local seafood served. Ask for a seat at the window from where you can see the sea in the distance. Great scenery when the sun peeps through the clouds on a windy evening!

I stayed here as a solo traveller and although the inside is a bit dated and a bit tacky in places it is clean and the staff are very friendly. This could be a plus or minus depending on your point of view but there is no TV or sky sports which was a bit of a let down. The...
