Detailed Reviews
With Covid stopping us going further than our shores we booked into Ballyness for our summer holidays last year- and then rebooked for this year again. This site is the cleanest site we have ever stayed in with our motor home and we have travelled the length and breadth of England, Scotland and Wales. We have four kids- one a toddler and so the family changing area for us was a revelation. To be able to let the big kids get showered in privacy while we bathed the baby was just brilliant and saved us having to worry about splitting the kids up between us. The facilities are always spotless and there are maintenance staff present every day. It’s has such a central location for day trips and the ply park is excellent for days round the site- so too is the games room. The site feels safe and secure and I cannot think of one negative. If we can get a spot next year again we will be back. Thanks for a great holiday!

We arrived at Ballyness and were greeted very pleasantly at reception. We easily found our pitch and settled in. The facilities are outstanding and a team of people keep the grounds and toilets etc spotless. A great plus for dog owners are the 8km of walking space. The town of Bushmills is a gentle 20 minute walk, with bars and restaurants aplenty. Highly recommend this site.

Absolutely fantastic site. Our first visit but certainly won't be our last.
Spotlessly Clean throughout.
Everything was so well maintained. Indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids, dedicated area for dog walking.
Bushmills Distillery is within walking distance (book online in advance), Giants Causeway is only approx 15 minutes by car but there is also a bus service to it.
The Dark Hedges and Ballymoney are within a 30 minute drive.
We would highly recommend this site to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Such a beautiful campsite! Cleaner than clean, luscious grass, very spacious toilets and showers where your clothes and towel actually stay dry. A 10 minute drive to the Giant’s Causeway parking, next door to the Bushmill distillery. Some nice places to eat in town.

I have just returned home. My husband and I spent 6 nights at Ballyness. The caravan park is fantastic. Shower/Wc facilities are clean, heated and music plays. Sara, the receptionist is lovely, as is Christine who is responsible for the immaculate conditions of the shower/wc. The Gypsy walk is fantastic for dogs. 10 mins walk into Bushmills, the park also has a local Bus, which picks up at park. My husband and I definitely will be back. FIVE STAR +++++

Possibly the best caravan park we have stayed in. The facilities were excellent - hot showers (not push-button!), clean toilets and basins. Nice camper kitchen with hot water, microwave and freezer. Plenty of washing machines and driers at a reasonable price. Pitches with water and electricity, good drive-over waste at the motorhome service point. Free usable wi-fi. Very quiet location. Friendly staff who gave us useful info on the area.
We had bikes with us and easily cycled to the Giant's Causeway - you have to cycle on the road into Bushmills, but then you pick up a path beside the Heritage Railway, so it's all off road.
In the summer (I think until the end of September) the Causeway Rambler bus calls in at the campsite and covers all the main sites along the Causeway Coast.
Bushmills itself is a good town for all your needs, plenty of eateries and coffee shops, plus a few minimarkets. The Distillery is next door - tours are available.
Would definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous site!!! Without doubt the cleanest site on our 2 week tour of Ireland. Well spaced fully serviced pitches. The site is so well kept and the facilities are superb. It’s a nice 20 minute walk into Bushmills which has a good range of pubs and restaurants. We went to the Townhouse, the staff looked us up and down on arrival, unimpressed with our campers attire. I’d avoid, food was expensive, pretentious and not worth it. North coast pizza was very good and delivered to the site!
