It eventually happened... with a few very stressful days of reorganising & planning... 23rd December 2020 will be one to remember after having to plan a wedding 5 times! A very special thank you to the Glenavon Hotel for everything they done to make our day perfect especially James & Paula. From our initial enquiry right through to our wedding day they were both amazing, especially dealing with the Covid pandemic and with us having to change dates following numerous changes to government regulations. They constantly kept us updated and worked and advised us on date changes and indeed, with only 5 days to plan the latest wedding date, they rearranged this professionally and stress free!!! The meal was fab, a big thank you to the kitchen and waiting staff, all dietary requirements were catered for with no problems. All staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for us, they made our day so special We are so glad we chose the Glenavon Hotel for our wedding reception, we would not change a thing. Even in the middle of Covid, we felt so safe with all guidelines and regulations adhered to. Roll on the rest of our lives together Anna & Michael x

Family trip from Edinburgh to visit our "irish" clan...great weekend, lovely hotel...fab rooms and facilities...special mention to Roslin on reception who sorted out our initial booking and had great reception/customer service. Food was great in restaurant, set dinner menu good value! John the barman was first class! Always very attentive combined with such a great personality...a definite asset to the hotel...was still having banter with us until we left 😁 along with the young waiter Daniel?? Definitely when back in Cookstown to visit our extended family will stay at the Glenavon.

Dear Trish Thank you for your kind comments following your recent stay. I think there's a bit of a competition on here to see who can get mentioned in the most trip advisor reviews and John , Daniel and Roslyn are head to head!! Your kind words were very much appreciated by everyone so thank you for taking the time. Kind regards Paula

Dear Jasmine Thank you so much for your kind words following your recent stay - the Chef will be delighted to hear that it was the best Turkey & Ham dinner ever! Thanks to you and your fellow guests also for helping us abide to the Covid regulations - I know that its particularly difficult that weddings are not allowed to dance nor stand at the bar counter and we really appreciate everyone's cooperation on Saturday to ensure that we adhered to all Government guidelines. I look forward to welcoming you back for another Turkey and Ham Dinner sometime :) Kind regards Paula Wilson
