Pleasant helpful staff. Lovely clean hotel with lovely refreshments and lunch. Easy access to main high street for lovely shops. Photos in reception area give Sense of Place. Will return for a private meal rather than for business.

We had booked this hotel on a secret escapes package 2 nights with 2 breakfast, 2 dinners and an afternoon tea. We arrived at the hotel to find the car park full, the hotel informed us that they had a auction on and the car park would clear by 4. Slight inconvenience but they did give us options of where...

I ordered a Welsh cake with my coffee at the bar and was charged a whopping one pound ninety five for it! NOT for coffee and the cake just the cake! Charging prices like that they must be making a huge profit.

Terrible nights sleep. Above my bedroom intermittently through out the night from 11pm and approximately every 90 minutes I could hear water pipes rattling and making an howling noise causing the whole room to vibrate. Along with the paper thin walls I could hear my neighbours conversation, all resulting in a very restless nights sleep. For this reason alone, I...

The positives: good location in the centre of town and helpful and pleasant staff. The negatives: the whole place is tired and run down. We drew the curtains in the bedroom to find two huge...

There is a good sized Lounge and bar and the dinning room is comfortable . The menu was varied , three choices on all three courses and coffee to follow ....

Only stayed one night but great hotel, everything as it should be, bedroom was very classy, bed nice and comfortable, nice and quiet, very high view of the River Towy and part of the car park where our car was. Didnt have the breakfast but all the staff we met were very precise and efficient.
