I have stayed in the Belmont several times with my partner and 2 young children and Ive just returned from a 2 night stayt by myself. The management, Neil and Joe, are always friendly, helpful and will go above and beyond for guests. Theyre also very accomodating with the childrens requirements and are playful and fun with them. The building...

I can here with a friend. I suffer from Fibromyalgia. On arrival an un professional long haired male finally arrived in the cold un welcoming foyer. He checked me in. Told me where lifts were and then stood and watched me struggle with bags of luggage to the lift. On entering the room it was freezing no heating on. I...

Management response:

Guests were politely asked to leave on their second nights stay due to smoking in the room and having provided credit card details that were invalid. We subsequently discovered the en suite was maliciously damaged.Guests said they were perfectly happy with their room, warm and comfortable upon our enquire at breakfast following their first night's stay.We did not charge them for...

We stayed in Belmont Hall in December. The house was v easy to find. The proprietors were so welcoming and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and with directions. The room was v spacious and comfortable. The house is a lovely building with lots of interesting history. Breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend a stay.

Heard about this place from a Dubliner who frequently traveled to Newry. She said that of all the places she's stayed in, this was the one to go for, and she was right. They cater to your every need and really make you feel like a special guest. Upon entering, you find a beautiful lobby and grand foyer with a...

If the classical Greek Revival period in a B & B is your cup of tea, you'll find this establishment just right. The Cool Manayunk Chick really, really enjoyed the oversized - canopy bed and the whole Jane Austen feel to the place. For my part, the stay was made more interesting by the fact that this B & B...

Would usually always stay in a hotel as a lot of B&Bs feel like you are staying in someones spare room and even intruding on their family life. However Belmont House has definitely changed my opinion. Beautiful big Georgian house means you are not tripping over other guests or the owners. Our bedroom was very spacious as was the bathroom, both very...

Never been happier to find £120 a night hotels fully booked up, only to come across this delightful guest house for a lot cheaper! 'Times weren't so delightful around when it was built' amongst the great stories been told by the sound and very knowledgeable host Neil. Ask him about the brandy runners :) He even walked us to the...

Great nights sleep at the guesthouse. Neal and Jo were fantastic hosts and really made our stay (even getting up at the crack of dawn to make sure we were fed before our early departure) Would definitely stay again. Thanks guys :)
