I always pop in there ever two or 3 weeks just to have a drink and something light to eat with my friend, staff are always very friendly and the pub is always clean. I absoloutley love it and I would deffenatly recommend stopping for a pint or two if you are on the way through. Have never needed to...

Popped in for a few well earned beers after walking in Dyfnant. Did not stay or eat so cannot comment on those aspects. Landlord/barman was friendly - kept the beer flowing - & good little local crowd who were happy to chat about darts & football. Bar & lounge are basic with big welcoming log burner. Toilets are at the...

We stayed here a couple of weekends ago and found it clean, obviously basic however extremely friendly. We were looking for a rural cheap hotel with a late bar and the Kings Head fit the bill. Food was good to, me and the boys want to thank Fran and staff for an unforgettable weekend.

Let me start by saying if your looking for a luxurious weekend away with the wife this isn't the spot......however if you have a group of lads who want to come drink and sleep this place is excellent. On arrival we were greeted by the owner and the bar lady who couldn't do enough for us during our whole stay....

Thank you for the review. We have a lot of work to do with the premises and whilst keeping a village pub going and refurbing it is a long process. The price paid for the rooms is nominal and we feel good value for money spent. It is refreshing to find a customer who can see the full picture and...

Had a nice meal with friends here. The curry was really good, not authentic but very taste non the less. Friends had burgers which were excellent and meat locally sourced. Staff were very friendly. A lovely area too. The bar was really cozy too with a pool table.

Came here on a pre-booked stag night. We weren't expecting much and we weren't disappointed. The owner and his mam were helpful and friendly, and the beer is good. The food was OK, maybe could have been hotter but it was home made. Can't comment on the breakfast as no-one turned up to cook it, in fact we left at...

Keep you expectations low and you won't be disappointed. It's basic with no frills and plenty of sauce. Take your own entertainment and back up food (and ear plus, the rooms are all dorms and blokes snore!) and you'll get what you'd expect for £20pp.

Please do not judge the rating literally. We stayed two nights as a stag event, something which this bar caters for very well. The landlady and her barman were great company over the weekend. The landlady kindly agreed to prepare us a one course evening meal for our arrival which was home cooked and excellent fayre for the price. Breakfast...
