From the time we checked in to our departure every staff member treated us amazing. Shout out to the pool staff members: Victor and Mariah. While we were served by others, we found them to be the best of the best. Kudos to Welkens at the main pool bar, who also was engaging while taking care of us. The only reason I will not give this the full 5-dots was housekeeping, it was not as expected or to other Ritz properties that I have visited in the past. Stefan in the morning, at breakfast, was friendly, precise and fresh daily. Followed up by the beach right after, with beach chairs and turtles. Art at the main bar/restaurant was warm, inviting, had a great memory and also made sure we were always taken care of. They made the experience that much better. We hope to be back soon.…

We were so much impressed by the environment and view here. Especially we have met managerConner Bloxham after our delayed long flight transfered from lax and decide to reschedule to extend our stay in Maui island. He is so efficient and professional, try to arrange the two reservations with consistency and have his team provide warm services.We do have enjoyed our stay in this nice hotel and I thought Conner represented professional service for brand Ritz-Carlton.

I have been loyal to a different hotel chain for almost a decade but the Ritz Kapalua has made me a convert! We are currently staying at the hotel and everything and everyone is absolutely perfect. We spent a whirlwind trip island hopping from Maui (south) to Big Island and we wanted to wrap up the trip at a lovely hotel to recharge our batteries before heading back home and I’m so glad we picked the Ritz. Travelling solo with a little one can be exhausting and boy were we tired when we got here but the Ritz has made it such an amazing stay that we are both completely relaxed and well rested. The rooms are extra extra comfy, the club lounge is amazing, the grounds are beautiful but most of all, every single employee we have encountered has been AMAZING! The service is exceptional and the best I’ve experienced. We travel a lot but I never leave reviews because I’m a picky traveller. However I felt that it is absolutely necessary to let the world know how amazing our experience at the ritz has been and extend a special thank you to all the folks behind the scenes that work tirelessly to make this place so special. The food, while a little pricey, was very good. The rooms, amenities, and experience was what you’d expect at a Ritz. I will say though, I likely will not be back though because of their valet. The valet workers seemed so entitled and rude, and don’t bother calling ahead for your car from your room, you’ll still wait 30 minutes after you get to the front. Just ask for your car when you get out front. We saw people come down and ask for their car and get it before we got ours. We waited 30 minutes once we got to the front 3 times, and once were late to a reservation because of it, even though we called over an hour ahead for our car, and the restaurant was only 10 minutes away. I’d prefer to park myself that way I know when we need to leave to get to our reservations on time. Also, there was only 1 person working the adult pool for drinks, took 40 minutes to get a drink, which was small and to me overpriced. Lastly, I’ll end on a high note, the wagyu smash burger was probably the best burger I’ve ever had…

My partner and I have been staying here once per year for the last decade. It’s a great location with great food and a great beach. However! Now they are insisting on a valet only car park. And they only seem to have 2 valets working. So there is constantly a huge crowd trying to leave the hotel and to drop cars again later. On previous trips Ritz guests could park themselves but now this is such a hastle. I will probably stay here again in the future but will try someplace else next year.

Beautiful resort! The only downside which is obviously out of anyone’s control is that Kapalua is WINDY. Like hold on to your hats and small children. Not sure if it’s always like that, but I heard kapalua has a windy reputation. For that reason I might choose to stay south next time! But the hotel itself was perfect

We are still here enjoying this amazing slice of heaven but I had to write a review. Dont believe the haters and negative reviews; I honestly don't understand those people. This place is by far the best Ritz we have ever enjoyed. Definitely go for Club access, 100% worth the experience. Food is delicious, and evening Hawaiian 'Farewell to the Day' is enjoyable. Mai Tais delicious. Service is top-notch, and they have made our Honeymoon and birthdays exceptional. We don't want to leave. The room with the upgrade is beyond perfect, pool. hot tub, beach amazing. The property is just gorgeous. We walked along the coast and spotted whales. LOVE this place. Hotel is clean, and everyone is very friendly and kind. Love the history behind the resort, the Ritz preserved a sacred Hawaiian burial ground and donated it. This is just a special place. Bella, Zelia, Alona, and all the Club staff are top-notch. Iris and Lurline in the Logo shop are wonderful too. Conner at the front desk fantastic.…

Ritz Carlton Kapalua is a top flight resort. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The resort is well maintained inside and out…great food and entertainment. The pools are crystal clear and heated. Enormous value coming here to relax and recharge. It’s so wonderful I stopped what I was doing to write this review while still at the resort!

A nice experience away from the crowds in Wailea and Kaanapali. Rooms are updated and decent but service is mediocre at best. Worst of all is the beach—I was told that the only way to have a chair or lounger at the beach was to rent one for 50 or 100 dollars a day respectively which cheapens the stay. I later discovered that if you’re bonvoy elite, rental charges are waived but was never informed of this by the font desk despite complaining—Inexcusable for our 5 night stay.
