I stayed here last weekend with my other half for his graduation. The hotel is wonderfully central to Truro so if you didn't know your way around its a great place to start. Also the staff are lovely they were talking a German couple through the sites as we checked out and it was clear they were proud of the... More

Third lunch here in recent weeks, and have been in large groups and just as a couple. Can really recommend the specials menu, which always has a good selection of fish and meat dishes, freshly prepared and well cooked. The service is quick, friendly and the atmosphere is lively with a mixed crowd. It's possible to turn up and get... More

We spent two nights at Mannings. Very welcoming, friendly small hotel. Very contemporary decor, excellent facilities. Room we had was on third floor, no lift, so ask for a lower level if you have trouble with stairs. We loved the room, looking out across the rooftops of Truro. Bed very comfortable, well lit for reading. Tea and coffee making in... More

I have stayed at Mannings every week for some months. What wonderful staff, superb meals and all so efficient. Beds are comfortable, free wifi, and the rooms are well equipped. The restaurant is relaxed, with an excellent range of daily specials, and meals are without exception of a high standard. The staff from reception to the restaurant are highly competent,... More

We enjoyed a delicious dinner here before a concert and it was just perfect. The menu was very varied and adventurous, the food and wine were exceptional and the service excellent. The decor is modern, light and airy and it feels relaxed and friendly. We would definitely go back.

Have just returned from 2 day stay in this perfectly positioned hotel. While my husband had a business meeting, I was able to explore Truro`s lovely shopping centre. The hotel was very clean, the room perfectly acceptable with a small bathroom. We were concerned we were unable to adjust the temperature of the water in the shower or bath. The... More

Clean, efficient and friendly. Our three day stay in Truro was hugely enhanced by our reaction to this hotel. It is difficult for a hotel, essentially a stopping off point, to impress, but this one managed it. Located in the middle of town, the hotel is comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the food in the restaurant, at breakfast and at... More
