We have stayed at The Old Vicarage on several occasions and there's a reason for that. It is simply the best place to stay in the area with its views, charming, comfortable rooms, stylish bathrooms and out of this world breakfasts. The location is lovely and quiet by the river with a beautiful garden whatever the season. Marilyn and Jonathan...

A wonderful place to stay. The house and rooms are charming and tastefully put together with high quality standard. The garden is beautiful with a view to the estuary. One can tell this is a owner room place with the attention to details that only an owner can give. .

A truly excellent B&B with kind and attentive service and a great breakfast. The building has been fabulously restored/converted to a very high standard. I took the top floor room under the roof with views out across the creek and was very happy to simply sit and look out. There are two rookeries close by so if birds trouble you...

Hello John. So pleased you had a lovely stay with us and that you have already booked to return very soon. We are always looking for ways to keep our breakfast interesting so look out for the various warm stuffed croissants that I am trialling at the moment, they are proving to be very popular.

We stayed for 6 nights in March 2017. We were in room 4 with great views from a bay window across the garden to the river estuary - beautiful. The house has been beautifully renovated, the rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The breakfast and sitting area are in an open plan room with complete glass front looking across the...

Greetings Andy and Kim. Jon and I appreciate your lovely review. We are delighted you were comfortable in room 4 looking out over the Tresillian river and the garden. The warm Spring has blessed us with a wonderful display of bulbs and enabled us to get out in the fresh air to prepare the beds for summer. Pleased that you...

We have just spent 4 nights at the Old Vicarage and had a wonderful time. Great hosts, fabulous room with lots of thoughtful touches, spotlessly clean and excellent breakfasts. We were in a room at the top of the house with fabulous views over the water. Beautiful garden full of birds. This is a real haven away from the hustle...

The best B&B ever! Try it - you will not regret it. Marilyn and John offer friendship, laughter, good food and beautiful views. What else can I say. We stayed for a week this time - we were even able to have take-aways delivered to The Old Vicarage and Marilyn set up the dining table and John joined us for...

Hello John and Claire Lovely to see you both again. So pleased you enjoyed the banter over breakfast and beside the roaring log fire. The open plan kitchen/breakfast room/lounge enables us to keep in touch with our guest whilst we potter around. We both love it when guests get involved and share the events of their day with us. The Old Vicarage at St Clements Truro is worth every one of its 5 star rating. Wonderful peaceful location with beautiful views across the a River. Being as disorganised as ever we arrived in Cornwall for a short break with no-where to stay. Actually, we started off in the Gower Peninsular but changed our minds (another story). We arrived tired and dishevelled but immediately fell in love and booked a 2nd night. This hotel has been lovingly and tastefully renovated to provide high quality accommodation. Our...
