The Hotel on first appearances seemed fine. I was travelling for business purposes and therefore it was essential that I had a good night sleep. I checked in, had dinner and met with a colleugue. On returning to the hotel just before 11pm the hotel was in complete darkness and had been locked up. I tried both keys I had...

I stayed for one night whilst in Truro for a meeting. Room was clean and comfortable with everything that I needed: ensuite wet room, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi. Breakfast served in the bar downstairs - cooked to order and was delicious. Would certainly stay there again if visiting Truro for a night or two.

We normally stay at the Royal (Mannings) when in Truro but thought we would give the Riverbank a try. Whilst the location and willingness of the staff were great we did not feel comfortable. More of a bar/restaurant with rooms that a hotel with a bar and restaurant. The room was modern and spacious but pretty soulless and breakfast was...

Having seen the reviews here, I was expecting something special. And although it’s a perfectly nice hotel, it’s certainly nothing out of the ordinary. It does have a great location, and the staff were very helpful. The bathroom was excellent and the room a decent size. I didn’t find the bed particularly comfortable, but I’m sure that’s just personal taste....

This was a company booking and therefore sight unseen. Upon arrival we were a little unsure of what we were in for but were very pleasantly suprised by the standard of the room which had everything you could want plus a walk in shower. The management and staff were all very friendly and accommodating and the food was very good indeed....

Spent just one night in August and was delighted with everything - location, modern room, dinner, value for money but above all with the caring attitude of all the staff. Will ALWAYS aim to stay on future visits to Truro.

“There are only eight rooms and my family tell me all theirs were ok so you don't really have to worry about location. Beware traffic rounding the bend to the right when exiting onto the main road from the car park.”
