What a lovely place. The staff is very service minded. The rooms are big and well equipped. Nice books in different languages to read. The breakfast offers choice and organic food. Art is all around. First time I have breakfast with art made by Calder close to me. Special mention to the restaurant a couple of hundred meters away. Nice food, nice wines, excellent services. Both to be warmly recommended.

We had the most delectable dinner on the terrace of this restaurant on a warm and sunny evening. The service was faultless and our lamb fillet (from Ireland, it transpired) was succulent and extremely tender. Others in our party reported equally well-cooked dishes. The terrace overlooks a pleasant square in the heart of town. Since there is virtually no traffic, the atmosphere is very relaxing. It's actually rather hard to believe that the 'gourmet restaurant' is located on the other side of the hotel, since our meal was so delicious. Since we did not stay in the hotel we cannot comment on its amenities.

But make sure to get your room in the main house. The decoration in each floor is different. Lovely. The rooms here was big and clean. But no a/c. The breakfast is good. You can order eggs the way you want. The lady at the reception was wonderful.

The Hotel and Restaurant Anne-Sophie is a charming hotel in Kunzelsau, Germany. Art is very present and available, with pieces on display throughout the common areas and individual rooms. I have stayed on two separate occasions and both rooms were spacious and comfortable. As an American, traveling in Europe without A/C can be challenging; however, Anne-Sophie does have some rooms with A/C and the other rooms have large fans. The on-site restaurants are great, as is the breakfast offerings. If you are in the area, I highly suggest you consider the Hotel & Restaurant Anne Sophie.

This hotel is divided to 3 different hotels. When check in, the receptionist told me to drive to another building. It was 3 stars hotel, not like the 4 stars hotel I checked in to. She told me I can park freely in front of the hotel. But, all the 15 parking places were occupied, and I had to wait for 45 minutes. The rooms access is through a middle of a restaurant... The room was big and clean, but all the window were less then 2 meters in front of other buildings, which made privacy difficult, unless you close the windows... The small city is beautiful, but, during the night everything is closed. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but, it looked very popular and busy.
