We stayed for one night while walking Hadrian's Wall. It was very welcoming, clean, comfortable and cosy. The pub down the road does a good evening meal and breakfast in Linden House was excellent. Would definitely recommend for anyone walking the wall!

We stayed here for one night while walking Hadrian's Wall. Linden House is simply beautiful and our room at the front of the house was very comfortable. We even had our own separate sitting room next to the bedroom. Sue was very warm and welcoming and prepared an absolute feast of a breakfast. Linden House is in a very pretty...

This country home is just gorgeous, and Sue and her husband made me feel most welcome. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept really well. The shower was excellent with a rain showerhead - just the thing after a long hike! Breakfast in the dining room was a treat. It's a very spacious, but warm and friendly. The table was...

This was our second overnight stop on a walking holiday of Hadrian's Wall and was a hard act to follow. Luxurious accommodation and delightful hosts who looked after us very well. We were recommended the local pub, The Crown, for our evening meal and received a warm welcome. Enjoyed all our meals and a good night's rest followed by an...

We stayed here during our walk of Hadrian's Wall. The hosts were nice, the bed was great, and we even had a separate sitting room to go with our bedroom! Special mention should go to the shower, which had 2 showerhead: a normal one and a rainshower one! Magnificent! Breakfast was also excellent with a large spread of fruits, yoghurt,...

Dick and Sue were wonderful hosts - friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and we really appreciated the opportunity to share their beautiful home for a night. Room was...

This place is very quiet and relaxing, and a bit luxurious. The towels felt as though they just sucked the water off of your skin the moment they touched it. The food was excellent with a variety to choose from at breakfast and the hosts were very polite, attentive, kind and respectful. A wonderful place to stay.

We walked the Hadrian's Wall Path early June from Wallsend/Newcastle west to Bowness on Solvey and stayed at B&B's along the way. We were welcomed by the owner Sue and we had a wonderful room with a big bathroom and a beautiful view. What do I judge B&B's on? By the mattress, by the breakfast and many small items, if...

Dick and Sue were perfect hosts. The house is glorious and sits in a fabulous village. The bedroom was huge and beautifully furnished. The en-suite bathroom was wonderful and so spatious. Breakfast was first class and although we chose scrambled eggs on toast, another guest had a full English which was really impressive! As we were walking Hadrian's Wall Walk...
