As a solo traveller I welcomed the pot of tea ( in silver pot) and chat on arrival. Tasteful spacious room. I was given the double at the front rather than the single at the back which was a generous gesture.

We had the pleasure of staying here in January. The home is a lovely old Georgian home built in 1620. Our hosts were very welcoming. Our room was very large with a huge ensuite bathroom. Downstairs in the loungeroom there was an open log fire...More

Hotel description
17th Century, elegant country house. Historic farmhouse where Henry VII reputed to have stayed here en-route to Battle of Bosworth. Tastefully decorated accommodation able to sleep up to a maximum of 6 people.The house benefits a range of original features including Inglenook Fires. Situated in beautiful and peaceful surrounds on the bank of the River Dovey. Wonderful Welsh breakfasts provided with all local produce. Please advise us of any dietry requirements you may have.
