A great family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble.
The location looks slightly awkward as a way from the centre village and lifts, but there are several options to get to the slopes, free navette bus, free hotel shuttle or a 7 minute walk to the suspension bridge by the Super Morzine lift. We hired equipment at the Intersport there which allowed us to leave everything there and walk in regular shoes. There is also a 5 minute walk cut though the other way down to the old town and supermarket etc.
The Hotel is excellent and there is a warm pool and jacuzzi with all year round use, Sauna, Gym, games room with table tennis, air hockey, 10 pin bowling, pool table, pinball and other electronic games. Theres also a quiet area for reading etc. Plenty to do after skiing or if a non skier.
The restaurant breakfast is excellent, and whilst we didnt eat an evening meal there, the daily menu looked very good.
We stayed in one of the mini chalets for 5 people and this was very clean and well set up for 5 people, with 3 singles upstairs with separate bathroom and a double sofa bed downstairs with another bathroom, dining area and kitchen, with everything you would need to self cater.
We asked for some larger cups for tea, and these were immediately available at reception for us.
Ski passes were organised efficiently and at a reduced cost to lift company advertised prices.
The whole experience made for a relaxing time for the whole family and I would definitely stay again.

My son and I stayed here for a 4 day ski break. This was a great place to stay. The rooms were well equipped with a balcony and a small kitchen including a fridge. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was simple but more than sufficient for a day on the slopes. Great coffee!
We used the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which were well maintained (jacuzzi could be slightly warmer to my taste :-)). The free games room (table tennis, air hockey, pnball, skittles) was a bonus as was the complimentary lift to the ski slopes in the morning. The only thing we didn't try was the gym.
It is a ten minute walk back from town but the ski bus stops right outside the hotel if you time it right. We didn't try the evening meals as we prefer to eat out in the evening but the menus were around and the choices looked good and typical ski chalet fare. I would definitely stay here again.

First time at the hotel Les Cotes. We arrived really late 23-30 but this wasn't a problem as we had the door code and our rooms keys were waiting in reception for us. David and his team are excellent hosts. The hotel rooms are typical French ski resort rooms. Very clean and tidy, pine everywhere and well presented. The heating is also typical for French ski hotel, very hot and we had to turn it down a bit. Breakfast was nice but would like an egg boiling machine. The pool, hot tubs and sauna-steam room are nice as well. Its a short walk to the bridge at the Avoriaz lift so well position for the other side of the river. There is a free bus (bus D) right outside the hotel going every 30 minutes that will drop you either at the bridge or at the Plenney lift. This bus will bring you back on a night if needs be. The hotel also do a free bus but we always seem to be more than the 30 required to wait for the free bus so didn't use that. Overall a really good reasonably priced hotel that we will defiantly be seeing more of in the future. The hotels right in town on the Plenney side have really hiked their prices in the last few years so this a a very welcome alternative and cost saving

Me and my fiancé stayed here for a week and had the best time ever! All of the staff were very lovely and accommodating, we even got a little tour when we arrived so we knew where to find everything.
The hotel offer a free shuttle to the ski lifts in the morning, but we slept in each day so missed them all! However the bus stop to get to the Pleney lift (to ski into a Avoriaz) is literally at the front door, which is amazing to get back after a long day of skiing and enjoying Apres!
The bus also drops you close to the Super Morzine lift if you want to ski into Les Gets, but we just opted to walk along each morning which took around 10 minutes in ski boots.
The pool and hot tub is a lovely addition, and perfect way to relax after a day of skiing!
Our room had a basic kitchen, but it was all we needed to prepare a lunch each day to take up to the mountain or have a nice tea in a couple of nights.
We will 100% be returning to this hotel as there we really can't find a fault!

The apartment was perfect for us as a family of 5. Good size, good location. Added benefit of hotel facilities. Staff were very helpful. As no one was booked in after us they very kindly allowed us to keep the room until evening, which was really helpful with an ill child. Hope to return next year.

We were made welcome from the moment we turned up to when we left by all the staff we met . The facilities were good too with indoor pool jacuzzi sauna and steam room . It is located 8 minutes walk from the avoriaz lift and on a free bus route too . Hotel provided complimentary transport to either lift ij the morning . Breakfast was also very good with a wide variety or bread hot food and fruit . Rooms clean and each had a small kitchenette which had all that was needed if you did not want to eat in the restaurant . Morzine is a great town too with lots of facilities and places to eat . Great stay !

Friendly and professionally run family hotel (over 50 years!) absolutely suited to families. The team including Mother, Father, 2 sons and their close friends, offer superb hospitality, cleanliness and I highly recommend the delicious French half-board dinners. Excellent food and wine. Winter transfers to the main ski lifts (Pleney & Super Morzine), car parking, ski/boot room. Short walk to bars, shops and restaurants. Indoor pool (8m?), jacuzzi, steam, sauna, games room. Ideal for families with children. Highly recommended.

Our accommodation was clean and spacious, loved the balcony looking over the town. The kitchenette was well equipped, and tuned out to be wonderful as the last few days we were there everything was shut due to Corona Virus. There is a games room and a beautiful warm swimming pool. The evening meal is just one set menu, which has to be booked in advance, but they were very accommodating of my dietary requirements, and the meal we had was lovely.
The family were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast buffet was varied for a small hotel. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Morzine, we just hope they come through the shut down.

I don’t know, the best thing would be to email the hotel
The hotel is located 5 min walk from the town hall and church place and 10 min walk from Super-Morzine Bubble Lift that connects you to Avoriaz and the Swiss part of the Portes du Soleil.
Morzine Ski Schools and the Pleney Bubble lift that brings you on Morzine-Les Gets area is located 900m from the hotel.
A free bus stops in front of the hotel (line D) every half-hours to bring you there.
We also organise a free hotel shuttles in the morning (3 departure between 8:30 and 9:30) to bring you to both lifts.
We advice 2 Intersport ski shops that are at the bottom of both lifts where you can store your equipment and come back to the hotel without carrying it.
Closest restaurants and bars are the following:
- Restaurant les Vents D'anges (6 min walk)
- Bar Dixie and Bar Rhodos (7 min walk)
- Restaurant Clin d'Oeil (7 min walk)
- Restaurant Dez'Alp (9 min Walk)

Hello,
Unfortunately, we do not have a wheelchair access from the outside or any disabled facilities in room. We do have an elevator to access rooms.
Our hotel is built in a sloping site, we cannot avoid having some stairs.
We are thinking about options to make our hotel accessible within the forthcoming years. We hope to find a solution which is not always easy when your are located in mountains and in a building that have been build many years ago.
I hope this will answer your questions.
David, Hotel Manager
