This was our 2nd visit to Hotel Le Samoyede - last visited in 2019 pre pandemic, and we couldn't wait to return. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our room was a good size, very comfortable large bed, and pleased to say it now has air conditioning which had been installed over lockdown. Also new was the secure bike room downstairs to store our mountain bikes, with easy access side slip instead of stairs to help getting them in and out. In addition they now have a spa area, but we didn't use this. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, including fresh bread and pastries. But the real asset at this hotel are the people who work there. They are all so friendly, professional and helpful. We stayed here to participate in the Pass Portes du Soleil mountain bike event and its location is perfect for this. A short walk to registration near the Tourist office, 2 minutes ride to the Super Morzine Lift and the hotel has an open bar that looks out over all of this so we could have a few drinks after our day of enjoying the mountains. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to returning next year!

We have just returned home from a holiday in Morzine staying in Hotel Le Samoyede. The hotel is very centrally located with lots of bars and restaurants near by. We were allocated a room on the third floor overlooking the Centre square, the room itself was very well equipped and had the bonus of air conditioning, which was needed as it was very hot. The Bedroom was a decent size and the bathroom was very spacious. There was a small balcony but great to sit and people watch in the early evening with a G&T.
Breakfast was both hot and cold selections and staff were more than willing to cook fresh bacon and eggs if the trays were running low. But what was on offer was more than adequate before setting out into the mountains.
All the staff at the hotel are very friendly and can’t do enough to help.
The hotel provides a voucher for guests to get a multi pass which allows for cheap use of facilities throughout Morzine, we used it mainly for lift passes and it was an incredibly good deal. For 2.50 euros per day you can travel up and down the mountains all day. Fantastic way to see the mountains and the scenery is breathtaking.
We will be back and we hope again to be able to stay at this hotel.

The atmosphere provided by your family, smile and care that we could experience, that we will remember. Attention to detail and taste, a sense of unobtrusive elegance, abundance and peace...
These same wonderful room we used to enjoy again. A well-thought-out and selected menu for dinner (wines selection and suggestion perfect - everybody can find something).
Breakfasts prepared in such a way that even very early morning skiier could enjoy not only dishes and service but has leisure and time.

This is a great hotel which is only about 100-150m from the main Pleney cable car. The service was very attentive and professional. It's a relatively small hotel (perhaps 35 rooms) which makes for a more intimate, friendly feel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. We stayed half board and the evening dinner was a fixed 5 course menu. The quality of cuisine is exceptional. We stayed in 2 rooms, one of which was a twin/double standard and had been refurbished. Our other room was a junior suite plus which was also very clean and of a good standard but not refurbished. We used the spa which comprises a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and is of an excellent standard. In summary, an excellent hotel which we would not hesitate to return to.

We had a fantastic experience at this classy family owned hotel, very centrally located, close to Pleney lift. Excellent restaurant and a charming and helpful staff. We had the half board option, great buffet breakfast with chef's specials to choose from each day. Dinner was to a very high standard and the restaurant and lounge area had a lovely relaxed ambience. Highly recommended.

We had a last minute change of plans when the lads ski trip to Canada had to be cancelled due to covid controls. I know, that sounds a bit posh for a lads trip but we had three seasons worth of ski money to splash!

Anyway, skiweekends came to the rescue and through them we booked 5 nights in Le Samoyede. Bit fancier than normal for us, but turned out to be a great decision. The location is brilliant in the centre of Morzine, but add to that the fantastic food, great staff - in both the hotel and bar - and brilliant facilities, it added up to an amazing stay. One of the party got taken Ill at one point but the manager and staff were helpful and attentive throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you to all at le Samoyede for making this a memorable trip.

Just stayed 5 nights at this fantastic hotel. The location is perfect- seconds away from the bus to Avoriaz or the cable lift to Morzine slopes.

We stayed in a balcony room and it was modern, clean and very comfy. Felt lux.

We stayed half board as finding decent meals out had been stressful on a previous holiday and the food at the Samoyede was phenomenal. Top quality ingredients and delicious every single meal.

The spa was great and staff were brilliant. Hotel bar was fun and great cocktails. Honestly struggling to think of a single negative (it could be loud at night due to being on the square but that is the same anyway centrally).

Located in the center of town, within walking distance to both ski sides of the resort, this hotel is outstanding. Food (breakfast and dinner) is delicious and having a set menu in the evening allows consistent quality. Family managed hotel allows staff to go the extra mile for clients. Of course the rooms are not huge but this is common in French hotels. Parking space on site a clear plus. A safe choice.
