Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I recently stayed at the hotel with my husband & another couple. We stayed for a week’s ski holiday (end Feb - early March). It is located within 2-3 minutes walk of the Les Prodains gondola and we were able to ski to the back of the hotel at the end of each day. The bus stop for Morzine is located within 1 minute walk opposite the hotel. We stayed on a half board basis; breakfast was excellent- varied & plentiful with lovely freshly baked breads daily. Dinner was amazingly every evening; the menu was set with no choice but varied throughout the week and was simply delicious every night. Our room was nicely furnished with a balcony overlooking the mountain. The room was cleaned daily & fresh towels provided, as required. It is a family run hotel with all staff very friendly. Jocelynn & Pascal are very hands on & run a great business; we really enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend this hotel as the place to stay for a ski holiday in Avoriaz, Morzine.

We returned to this family-run hotel after an absence (also from skiing!) of 11 years. It was just as we remembered it - warm welcome, good & comfortable rooms, excellent service and meals. The location is ideal for exploring the Portes du Soleil area, both Morzine-Les Gers and the Swiss resorts being in easy reach and with excellent pistes. To be strongly recommended!

We had an excellent stay of 3 nights at the hamlet of Prodains. Pension is very well located, quiet, at the foot of the mountains and the Prodains gondola.
The rooms are small but cozy, comfortable and clean.
Breakfast is delicious, composed of homemade products and local products (excellent jam, homemade cake, cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit, fruit salad, yogurt...)
We also enjoyed the dinner, hearty , refined and excellent.
The pool and jacuzzi are very enjoyable and allow you to relax after a day of hiking.
Congratulations to the boss, present from morning to night, for her professionalism, her sense of welcome and her flawless organization.
Everything is done to ensure that you have a great stay.
We'll be back!

Myself, wife & two girls stayed over the Christmas period for our first family holiday away from the main family’s. We had such a wonderful time at the resort & hotel. We usually stay in chalets (catered/un-catered) but decided to try a hotel this time. We were welcomed by the staff straight away & shown to our rooms. Our family room was bigger than the girls room which worked well for the storage aspect of the clothes & ski wear. The boot room was conveniently situated next to the main door with a security pin to open. The location of this hotel is second to none !! Literally1.5 minutes to the Prodains Express lift or 30 seconds from the free bus service taking you directly to Morzine Le Plenny lift in about 15 minutes.
We chose to stay half board. The food was very French themed with a nice easy continental morning breakfast with boiled eggs & fresh French baguettes. The dinner menu was set, which at first I wasn’t that use to, but the food that was served was absolutely out of this world; fresh hot plate meats to fish & local delicacies to cheese boards to die for.

Overall really enjoyed our time here & can’t wait to rebook & return !!

We have been visiting the Hotel and restaurant for almost 25 years. The service is efficient, continuously reliable and friendly. Staff have been trained and it all works like clockwork. The food was always good . The menu has diversified over the years and we were able to get a one overnight stop with the option of A la Carte or Table d'hote Menu. The set Menu was delightful , food was well presented and the Wine List included quality and bargain bottles. The latest innovation is that the owners have opened up a Piste Bar and Snack service called L' adresse at the end of the piste beside the lift station . There was live 6 piece Jazz with interesting snacks /nibbles and many of us drank quitely as the sun set . Well done to Jocelyn, Pascal , Theo and all there !

Great value for money. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. The food was fantastic, whether it be a la carte or the half board set menu. The puddings were to die for. We had booked half board, but on one night wanted 2 friends to join us. It was not a problem to change to B+B that night and eat a la carte. It's only 100m from the Prodain Express ski lift and you can ski back from Avoriaz to the doorstep. Rooms were more than adequate. I'll definitely be back.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.
Great location at the foot of the Prodains Gondola. About 50m away, you can ski down the blue straight to the hotel.
Free button lift and novice area next to the hotel.
The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable, our room was nice and modern with a balcony.
The best thing about this hotel is the food which is fantastic and varied.
The staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble.
The Wi-Fi is terrible but that went for the whole of Avoriaz due to local technical issues.
Morzine is only 5-10 mins away by car or ski bus but don’t expect to get home by cab after apres aki as they don’t exist.
This is a family run hotel and the owners should be very proud of themselves. Thanks for a great stay.

The hotel is in a little village so close to the lifts and ski hire it makes each days skiing a delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean and super friendly. The food and hospitality are amazing and we felt incredibly well looked after by the team. The rooms are clean and tidy and have plenty of storage space.
A fantastic stay, would highly recommend.

This hotel was excellent we went with family and friends. We had a great stay and the location was perfect- 5 mins from the skilift. The food was fantastic, and staff were so friendly and made us very welcome. The cheese trolley was an absolute delight, and we really made the most of it!

Perfect family hotel, amazing location, professional staff, really excellent food. We’ve done half board at the main hotel before, great value although rooms a little snug. This year we stayed in the new Hameau apartments which were spacious and well fitted out. Strong recommend.
