What a great hotel.

I have just had a family holiday staying in Hotel La Bergerie.

The hotel is family run and the service is first class. Very Friendly, nothing is too much trouble.

The location is 2 mins to the ski lifts and the ski hire shop is next door.

There is an outside pool which is heated - great for the kids.

One of the best hotel experiences we have had.

I would recommend this hotel for winter skiing or summer holidays and will be returning soon.

Thanks to Eric and Caroline for a great holiday

We stayed at Hotel La Bergerie for a week at Christmas this year with our 2 children (age 9 & 11). From the moment we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The owners Eric and Caroline and their family are warm and very hospitable and make you feel so relaxed and welcome. Also I must mention Jeep the dog who we all fell in love with.

We had a duplex XL room which was fantastic. It had a mezzanine level for the kids with 2 single beds which was perfect as they had their own space. The rest of the room was very well equipped. It even had a kitchen area with a dishwasher and coffee machine and pretty much every thing you could need. Also a seating area. The room was decorated in a modern and welcoming way and was a great size room for a family,

The decor at the hotel is really cool, relaxed and inviting. It is very well thought out and so much nicer than staying in a predictable chain type hotel. The hotel has a gym, boot room for skis etc. an outside pool and saunas which are lovely after a day on the slopes. Also a kids playroom with lots of keep all aged children entertained, The hotel is very family friendly.

We ate breakfast there each day which was a buffet style and had a brilliant selection of breads, yummy cheeses, hams, cakes, pancakes, fruit and an egg boiling machine which was a bit hit with my family. Even a honeycomb where you could get your own fresh honey each morning. We also ate dinner several times at the hotel. They do something called a kids table where all the kids sit together and have a dinner together which is really sociable and the kids loved sitting with other kids and making friends. Then the adults eat and there is a different meal option each night which we always enjoyed. We were lucky enough to be there on Xmas day. Father Christmas came to visit all of the children at dinner time and gave all the children a lovely gift. There was also a champagne reception for the adults and a lovely dinner.

The location of Hotel La Bergerie is fantastic. It is central to Morzine so you can enjoy many restaurants and shops within yards of the hotel. There is a great ski shop next door which we used for rental of skis, snowboards and also snowshoes. The kids ski school ESF was at the end of the road along with the plenty lift.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We have stayed at many ski hotels in many resorts over the years and this one is the best hands down. We will definitely be back again soon.

Thank you so much Caroline, Eric and family and of course Jeep x.

We stayed in Hotel La Bergerie with our two kids 10 & 9 for a week of skiing. We had not stayed here before nor did we have it recommend by anyone but we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to all our friends and family. Apart from the perfect location for skiing, as only minutes walk to La Pleney ski lift, the hotel itself is beautiful. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from the interior style that is not the typical Alpine uniform, rater quirky designer elements from the lighting and furniture to the smallest dining details. The kids playroom and gym were great but the biggest attraction was the outdoor heated pool that we spent the evenings in, along with the the steam room and sauna. The owners are a lovey family who genuinely care about their customers, they emailed before our stay with recommendations and were happy to answer all our questions. They love animals as do we , our kids loved playing with Jeep and MrCatBlack. And last but most important which we always look for in a hotel is there approach to environmental consciousness, at every touch point this is considered from leaving a long-life shopping bag in our rooms, note regarding the room linen to use to the dining elements, there no disposable plastic used. Overall this is a truly special place and i would highly recommend it and hope we have the good fortune to visit again. (b the way I have not written a review on trip advisor in years but this place 100% deserves it!)

We had a wonderful last minute stay at La Bergerie. We stayed in a family suite which was very cute and perfect for our needs with a small kitchenette which we made good use of for light breakfasts and lunches. The hotel is perfectly situated a 5 min walk from the main lift in Morzine, and next door to a great ski shop that they can help you pre order anything you need. The outdoor pool was a huge hit with the children, as was the pet dog ‘Jeep’ who we were all sad to say goodbye to! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again.

So we have stayed here a few times and so you expect the next visit to not match up to your rose colored glasses view of the previous... But we continually have a 5***** experience at this hotel.

It's location is perfect, in the center of the town but quiet enough to not be kept awake at 3am.

It's exquisitely decorated with a lovely alpine wood finish matched with that classy boutique hotel feel!!

The owners take massive pride in the hotel and it shows in the service and quality of everything they do all the way down to how they serve a hot chocolate.. Amazing..

The rooms are comfortable, spacious and somewhere to look forward to going after a day skiing which is quite unique.

The other hotel facilities including gym are superb BUT pool is great for the kids, even in winter!!

We recommend it to some friends who also went this year and they loved it so much that they have already booked again for next year as have we!

Overall would always recommend this hotel.

My family of 2 adults & 2 children visited Hotel La Bergerie for 5 nights. This is our third time staying here......we simply would not consider to stay anywhere else when we visit Morzine. Eric, Caroline, Delphine & the entire team provide 5 star service in a luxurious home from home environment. Nothing is a problem when we stay here. If you want a relaxed hotel, with excellent service, quality food & drinks .....this hotel should be your choice. The hotel is so central in the town of Morzine, 2 minute walk to the cable car. With its fabulous outdoor heated swimming pool & sauna & steam room, it caters for all your needs after a day on the slopes.
We enjoyed our stay so much, we have already discussed our dates for next year before we checked out last night!
Thank you Eric, Caroline & all the team.
👍🏻👍🏻 The Hannan Family

I have stayed in several hotels in Morzine over the years, and everyone of them have been absolutely wonderful, family run businesses who put the customer at the forefront of everything they do.

However this hotel is without doubt the very best, from the warm welcome to the wonderful breakfast to the beautifully appointed rooms and comfortable communal areas.

The location, less than 200m walk to the lift is excellent.

The pool (open all year) sauna, steam room and gym are all great facilities after a days skiing.

The staff were absolutely amazing, ensuring our ski wear dried overnight, happily playing the rugby on the large screen tv in the lounge/bar and putting up with our cheering and shouting.

If you looking for a place to stay in Morzine you can’t do better than Hotel La Bergerie.

My 11 year old son and I heard about Morzine as an ideal place to get outdoors after 3 months of being inside. We chose La Bergerie due to the many positive reviews but were seriously impressed when we got there. Eric and Caroline, the owners, were welcoming, helpful and great fun and they made sure that we both felt at home. The hotel and garden are beautifully kept and there are lots of games for all age to keep everyone busy. Dinner was always delicious and varied and the atmosphere in the bar and lounge was always jolly.
The hotel is perfectly situated in Morzine with lots of good restaurants and shops nearby and an excellent bike rental shop next door. There is so much to do in Morzine and Les Gets that we were overwhelmed with choice every day.

We look forward to returning in 2121.

Many thanks to Eric and Caroline.

We stayed at La Bergerie recently but our trip was cut short due to the Corona virus - Eric & Caroline were so kind and helpful to get things sorted out so that we could return to the UK, so we will definitely return to fully experience all that La Bergerie has to offer. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel - so many little touches to make it feel homely, welcoming and very special. The breakfast was wonderful.

I went for a day trip today to Morzine from Avoriaz resort. Did some Christmas shopping in the next door shop to this hotel and wanted to get some coffee and cake. As soon as entered I was asked by the lady in reception to leave my stuff (Christmas shopping) and my very expensive coat by the entrance unattended and not even visible from where I am supposed to sit. I said I am not willing to do that because that's the most idiotic thing I've heard. Than an arrogant guy (must be the owner) appeared from nowhere reiterating that I should leave my coat on hanger by the entrance door because according to him my expensive coat and Christmas shopping would disturb the look of his totally deserted and outdated lounge/hotel. I really pity you Mr owner because business is bad anyway and more for you because there is No snow in Morzine right now to draw the crowds and I advise anyone coming for skiing this season to check out the beautiful Avoriaz for a guaranteed snow and the uniqueness of a Car FREE resort. There are two superb hotels Les Mill8 a brand, modern New hotel and Hotel "les dromonts" where the stuff are just excellent and no one behaves as if they come straight from the middle ages.
Happy Christmas every one/ Joyeuses fêtes

Dear Madam, We are sorry that you did not enjoy the few seconds you spent at La Bergerie. As a rule, we do not accept people who are not guests of La Bergerie. You have therefore confirmed our choice not to accept non guest at our living room. It is true that we ask people to leave their coats at the reception. Especially in rainy day. Your jacket was in total safety at the reception. If I intervened it was simply because you ignored the request of the person at reception. But we are delighted to see that you enjoy our family's other hotel, the Mil8 in Avoriaz. Caroline et Eric
