5 of us stayed for an annual mountain biking trip. We stayed in apartment 12. 3 good sized bedrooms with twins you can push together to make doubles and a sofa bed upstairs in the living area. 3 en suites with one with a bath and a loose shower. Other two bedrooms have walk in normal showers. All very clean and tidy. Everything you could need for a self catered week. The casino supermarket is literally next door as well for food and other supplies! It's located 2 minutes ride from both pleney and super m lifts. Has a large garage underneath which parks about 8 normal sized cars and very limited parking at the front. There's also a bike workshop down below with secure anchors to lock bikes to (bring own lock) and a selection of basic tools. The whole week I only needed one of my own tools out my van and my bleed kit. In the back garden has a bike wash area with the worlds most powerful hose pipe. There's also a gym downstairs and a sauna. Unfortunately didn't get to use the sauna thanks to Corona virus! Both looked good though. Kevin who runs Aiglon was extremely helpful and accomodating, whatever we needed he was always there to help us out and I can't thank him enough for helping me park my large transit van. Even though we went as MTB as a skier I'd be very happy staying here as well to ski as the walk to the lifts would be minimal and I can imagine Aiglon is very nice to be inside in the winter months! I'm sure we will be back in the future.

Out of our numerous skiing trips, the apartment was probably one of the best we've ever stayed at. There was a very cosy feel to it and we felt immediately at home. The layout (3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms) was perfect and the dining room/kitchen very well organised too, with plenty of space. The apartment and building are clean and very well looked after. The location is quiet and central, close to the ski lifts, bus stop and shops in Morzine. Last but not least, Kevin the manager was really helpful, available and nice, he made this stay a very enjoyable one.

Only one minor thing, to pick one: we could not park the car inside the underground car park, as we had a roof box and the height was restricted. For a skiing location, usually families, the designers of the building should have thought about this aspect.

We stayed in apartment 4. There were just two of us and it was the perfect size. In fact, it was quite spacious compared to usual chalet apartments in the village. Bathroom very roomy, which is great. It’s advertised as having a kitchenette but the kitchen is actually fully functioning, thing only thing missing that would have really improved our stay was a toaster!
Location is great for access to slopes and shops, restaurants etc. The only issue is that apartment 4 is on the first floor, roadside. The windows of the bedroom and living room are chest height and face directly onto the road, so there is zero privacy which means keeping the curtains shut at all times unless you want everyone to be able to see exactly what you’re up to. Because of its proximity to the road, it’s also quite noisy. We were woken every night of our stay by cars driving past and people walking down the road/past the windows. I would stay again, and can recommend the residence, but would be prepared with earplugs next time!

Kevin (host) was great from the start very helpful. Apartment was ideal for 9 people also in a great location. The rooms were big enough for all of us with 2 sharing the sofa bed in the lounge.Ski lockers were easily accessible. Both main lifts were roughly a steady 15m walk away in full ski gear. Thanks again Kevin we will be returning!

We had a wonderful company weekend staying at the Aiglon. We rented several apartments which were all of a very high standard, clean, spacious with great facilities. The Aiglon is centrally located just a short walk to restaurants and ski lifts. Kevin and his team couldn't have been more helpful, from breakfast deliveries to ski passes. It made the weekend a real success. Thank you!

Have just had a brilliant couple of weeks in Morzine for our family summer holiday, and L’Aiglon was the perfect base. An easy walk (less than 10 mins) to lifts, shops and activities like pool and tennis, and right next door to the supermarket, we had lovely views and felt we were at the slightly more peaceful end of town. Apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for cooking meals. If we needed anything Kevin was a very helpful host.

Our apartment was very spacious and well equipped, with 3 en-suites and great views. There was an underground car park and a lift, so all very convenient. We liked having the supermarket very close for meals in, but the restaurants locally were great, most with terraces and lots of choice. Walking nearby was stunning, as was the swimming lake 10 mins away by car. There was lots to do locally - a 50m outdoor pool, pony trekking, skate/scooter park, playgrounds, hiking, paragliding, kayaking/paddleboarding and mountain biking. We got passes for the ski lifts & swimming pool from the manager, who was super helpful. Would suit all ages, and we'd definitely return.

location of the hotel was nice and central - though noisy.
garden facilities were nice - good sundeck, and facilities to clean bikes - lounge chairs were dated.
Room was noisy, no furniture on balcony, dark, and for a women, no opportunities to leave the windows open on this near ground floor level. Kitchen facilities were good.

Everything about my stay was perfect. Beforehand, I was a little concerned as I went at the peak time during the Covid Pandemic. However my nerves were quickly put at ease upon arrival when I saw that the apartment was very clean, spacious and safe. All necessary precautions were in place and the building manager, Kevin, was on hand whenever needed.

Overall, the apartment is located well within the centre of Morzine and has stunning panoramic views. Would 100% recommend!

Aiglon is situated in the heart of Morzine with all amenities nearby. Manager Kevin will arrange transfers, ski hire and lift passes. Apartments are well equipped, spacious and kept in good order. What's not to like?

Hi - what is distance to ski lifts and how close to the residence can you ski to at the end of the day?
Answer from stvwrnr
Ipswich, United Kingdom36 contributions8 helpful votes
Hi - we're 5 minutes walk (on the flat) from the SuperMorzine lift. From there, you can catch the petit train to the Pleney lift, or it's a further 5 minutes walk. Pleney is the closest you can ski to the apartments (Morzine doesn't have much ski in/ski out accommodation)

hi Greg, The spa is within the building. The sauna is free for guests to use. There are then paid-for treatments available from our onsite partners, Mountain Rehab and Indulge (check our website for links, as I can't post them here). Hope that answers your question, and look forward to welcoming you to L'Aiglon! Steve
