We booked two rooms at the last minute for a 4 day ski trip. The hotel was fantastically accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Despite the fact that we arrived quite early on New Years Day our rooms were ready for us and we were able to check in and get changed and hit the slopes in the afternoon!
The rooms were some of the biggest we have ever stayed in at a ski resort. The bathrooms were slightly dated but very clean and had a separate loo which is very handy. The location is ideal as you are within easy reach of Pleney and Super Morzine lifts.
Overall we couldn't fault the hotel, Annick was so friendly and helpful.

I have been trying to come to hotel Bruyères for 2 years now and Covid keeps getting on the way !. This week Switzerland may have spoilt this years holiday too but we are desperately hoping this is not the case. However Vincent at the hotel has been absolutely fantastic and so kind to hold our booking until more news is available. Therefore if Vincent’s work is anything to go by this hotel will be absolutely wonderful and I’m hoping we get there soon !! Thanks you Vincent and hotel Bruyères!!

Lovely Hotel, immaculately clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Only 5 minutes walk to the Pleney lift and the centre of town, so very well located and very quiet. I would definitely stay again! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great 3 star hotel, the place to stay in Morzine, rooms are beautiful and very clean, very nice and helpful host & staff, and perfect breakfast. The 12m swimming pool, the very well equipped gym room and sauna are very welcome additional features. And all that for a very fair price.

Vincent and his team are superb! Location is absolutely perfect (2 min walk) for super Morzine and Pleney lifts and all town centre amenities. Rooms are exceptionally clean and very spacious. All communal areas are also exceptionally clean and tidy. Sauna and pool were a big hit after a day on the slopes. Breakfast varied and plentiful with great coffee machine. Overall excellent stay, lovely people and would highly recommend!

A fantastic quiet, friendly hotel, situated perfectly close to everything that Morzine has to offer. Gondolas within a couple of minutes walk and right beside all the good restaurants. Breakfast very good and the pool was small bit perfectly suited out needs. Will definitely be back. Merci.

Lovely Hotel

Great location for both ski lifts to ski either Morzine or Avoriaz. I found the hotel to be central to the village so nothing was far to walk. The room we had was lovely, it was furnished nicely, modern bathroom, warm, quiet with great views.

Lovely hotel in great location in between town centre and main gondola. Smallish (28 rooms?) family run hotel with very attentive and helpful staff. Excellent value for centre of Morzine. We had half board option which worked well for our group of nine. Food is very French, eg rare duck breast, rare beef etc but very tasty. Bar prices very reasonable. Overall would thoroughly recommend and we'd definitely book again if staying in Morzine.
We used 'Pleney' ski hire for our equipment rental. Nephew of the hotel owner. Shop is opposite main gondola so you can leave equipment there overnight. Good prices and no problem changing boots etc. We also did Parapenting (hang-gliding) on the last afternoon. Albert at ActionSports (opposite ESF office) charges €75 pp - fantastic experience for the kids.
Must say a word about Morzine. We were there in half term. It's a great resort for children. Highly recommended for families. Huge ski area if adults want to go further afield. Restaurants reasonably priced but you MUST book - especially on a Friday evening!

We stayed here with our 3 children and another family for half term. Rates were reasonable for a peak week. Location is perfect- tucked away down a quiet street yet just off the 2 main roads in morzine. 5 mins to supermorzine, 10 to pleney. Easy walk in the morning and to nip out for some apres ski, ice rink etc. Food vastly exceeded our expectations and it was lovely to have table service in the evening rather than a buffet. We were beautifully looked after by Constance in the restaurant and Annick in reception, and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. Rooms small and a little dated but perfectly adequate and special mention to the cleaners who did a fantastic job not only cleaning but immaculately tidying the 'kids room disaster zone' every day! Well heated boot room and a very large games room with ping pong and table football that kept kids (and adults!) very entertained. Kids used the pool every evening and had it to themselves most of the time....a far cry from some of the apartment pools we've stayed in the past. I am sure we will stay here again.

Hotel Les Bruyers charges 2 star rates but the similarity ends there. The hotel is little short of superb for the price. It is located just a stone's throw from the centre of Morzine yet set in large grounds with private parking and gardens in a quiet area surrounded by typical alpine chalet type residences and hotels. The family who have owned this hotel for generations are obviously passionate about cleanliness and keeping on top of maintenance. Everything worked and the staff obviously wanted to do everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the small side with dated decor but those are minor issues when you look at the overall package of pluses. Other benefits include secure ski/bike storage, bar, swimming pool with garden sun beds/chairs, gym, games room, large recently refurbished restaurant. You will not be disappointed in terms of value for money.

Answer from TheRoddies

We didn't use the pool. We were there for skiing and the pool is probably aimed at summer visitors. Having said that I think it was heated because other guests were using it. No extra towels in the room for pool use but staff were so helpful I'm sure they would supply some if asked
