Detailed Reviews
Just returned from Feb Half term as a party of 9, 2 families with youngest child 11 years old and oldest 20.
We all really enjoyed our stay at the Hermine. It's a relatively small hotel with attentive and friendly staff, but has the facilities of a larger hotel. The hot tub, sauna and pool were very welcome at the end of a long day on the slopes, and the pool table and table tennis gave us opportunities for inter-family competition. The food was generally good and served promptly, including a decent choice for breakfast.
The rooms are pretty small but cosy, which isn't an issue given you're out most of the day. Try and get a room at the front of the hotel as the views of the slopes are fantastic.
The only bug bear was the WiFi which was weak and patchy. The hotel would benefit from investing in more powerful routers and boosters as decent WiFi is to be expected nowadays.
As others have written, hire your gear at one of the places in town. It's only a 10 min walk to the town but you wouldn't want to be doing this in your boots. We hired ours at Intersport which is at the end of the bridge and right by the Super Morzine lift. This worked out fine as when we wanted to use the Pleney lift we either used the little train or walked there, no more than 10 mins.
All in, I thoroughly recommend the Hermine.

This hotel was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed the food and the conversing with the staff who served it. The barman was extraudinarily chatty and welcoming, will certainly be returning.
The food for 6 courses for £25 a night was also an extraudinary bargain.

Just come back from a great stay in the Hermine Blanche, the glorious sunshine and fantastic location made it even better, despite the 10min walk uphill.
Kids club, was an unexpected bonus to find out we had four free sessions was a game changer Matt was fantastic, catered for both ages brilliantly and the boys didn’t want picking up until club had ended, the boys have had the most perfect week. They did a wide variety of activities keeping them engaged throughout.
Friendly staff, no matter what their role in the hotel they were always incredibly polite and really helpful, from Alex the manager, George the rep and many others who made us feel throughout the trip welcomed.
Multi pass gave lots of access to a variety of things, pedestrian lifts, huge pool in town centre, petite train and much more but it wasn’t always clear which bits were free / added cost / location, more information is needed. For example ice skating is free, but not too hire the skates) discounts for the Indiana Parc are only applicable for a few specific days. Also Avoriaz is virtually impossible to get to by bus so we couldn’t do the mini golf.
The hotel puts on white water rafting which was a real hit and not to be missed out on, my eldest came back buzzing there is also a great range of bikes which you have free access too, however these aren’t allowed up the mountain on the lifts which we weren’t aware of so mainly went for beautiful cycles along the river (there is also an orienteering course to complete along the river, it’d be good if the hotel had copies of the map rather than trek to tourist information)
90% of the food was delicious, huge portions which when added to the bread basket constantly being topped up made it even more enjoyable, afternoon tea always went down well and unlike ski resorts there seemed to always be enough even if you didn’t get there on the dot of 4.30.
There was only two choices in the evening which was sometimes quite limiting and I feel a third option would have made it even better. The soups the first two night were out of this world, best I have ever had in numerous summer and winter holidays!
The only other issue with mealtimes was it was a 7pm start for a family with young children this is quite late and I would have preferred a slightly earlier start for families.
In summary a lovely hotel, this past week it’s had a great family vibe where all the children played lovely together ranging from 4-12+, I can’t wait to come back next year and it’s more like a 4 1/2 stars and with a few small
tweaks it’d easily be a 5* venue

The staff were amazing at this small hotel which is great for families. The pool is clean with amazing views, and the food could not be better. A little walk up the hill means this is in a quiet area but all amenities are within 10 mins walk. Alpine elements run the hotel, and we got activities included in our holiday. We will be coming back!

Me and my friend have stopped here many times over the years and it’s been really good. Three years later not so good starting with the good points. Very clean staff very friendly good location. Five points Wi-Fi is rubbish Jacuzzi doesn’t work. And the food was coming out Luke warm or cold every single time and tops it off the last two days I noticed that the eggs were floating in the water as I went to put them to the boiler to make a boiled egg. I looked at the date and they were the third February they were about 10 days old and they were off as they were floating after that I ate out every night which I didn’t want to do as I paid for half board. and I don’t know what’s going on with Alpine elements but it’s gone a bit downhill which is a shame as I use them quite a bit over the years.

We booked a last minute ski trip with Alpine Elements and stayed at Hermine Blanche. The hotel is a typical chalet hotel, a little bit tired but clean and very comfortable. The roomhad plenty of space to put your gear and bed was comfortable. The location is across the bridge from the super morzine lift and a 5 minute walk up the hill.
The food was spot on and much better than in some chalets that I have stayed in for twice the price. Of course, what always makes a difference is the staff who were superb. Always chatty and very happy to help. A special shout out to Rich the barman who made the best espresso martinis and was happy to indulge our chat at the bar. Alex and Tash run a great operation but over all you get the feeling that everyone takes pride in what they do. Well done Alpine Elements for providing what you say rather than branding your offering as luxury and missing the mark like so many ski companies do.
I wouldn’t hesitate to travel with AE again.

We stayed over new year, and had a great time at the hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and very professional, especially given their young age. The hotel was very clean, and well equipped with other activities (pool table, sauna etc.).
They catered well for alternative dietary requirements, and were always prompt during dinner and breakfast service.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely small hotel. Our room was clean, tidy and tasteful with a decent bathroom. The bed was comfortable.
The reception/bar area had a relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to chill out and play board games in the evening. There is also a pool table. Down one level there is table tennis too.
The dining area was well laid out with tasteful furniture.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful but the manager in particular went above and beyond to help us when we found our selves in a difficult situation.
The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were perfect for relaxing after a day on the pistes.
We had a six month old baby with us and would highly recommend this hotel for a family trip.

First experience of Alpine Elements and the summer in the Alps. The hotel was great, clean, food lovely and the pool amazing. The location is good, 10 minutes into town and the view from the hotel is stunning. Thank you so much to Dan the Deputy Manager. Dan was very helpful, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Ps if you love beer o clock (5 ish for us) you won’t find a better location with the most amazing views. Hope to return next year!

We have just had an amazing holiday with Alpine Elements at this hotel. The whole experience was brilliant, from pre-trip enquiries to the staff at the hotel who were so friendly and helpful. We have never tried this type of holiday and will definitely do it again. Alpine elements made it very easy and the organised activities were great. Our rep was also very helpful with the other activities on offer in the area. The hotel was in a great location and we had parking for our car. It was a short walk over the bridge into Morzine. The bikes were great for getting around too. The breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner included were all tasty and there was a good range on offer. The staff were even helpful in adapting the menu for fussy kids! Overall a great trip, thank you

Hi,
We are glad to hear you have booked an Alpine Elements trip with us, the hotel Hermine Blanche staff day off is on Tuesday.
Thank you and hope you have a wonderful trip.
Hi Lisa
Thank you for your questions.
It is true that reception is not open 24 hours. It is closed for a period in the afternoon and during the night, which is why we ask what time people are arriving.
If you are travelling with a tour operator we will already have your estimated arrival time.
The restaurant is closed on a Tuesday evening for staff night off.
We look forward to seeing you at the hotel.
With kind regards
Hotel l'Hermine Blanche
Good Morning Stuartmcl
My apologies for the delay in reply I wanted to check with our team in resort before coming back to you. The rooms that have baths also have a shower attachment over the bath. If we can be of any further help feel free to get in touch.
