Value
Located in downtown Royan, between the main beach (100 m) and the train station (400 m), this 2-star seaside hotel will allow you to relax and be close to the city. All year round, several types of quiet and comfortable rooms are available with free wi-fi and, depending on the options, mini-bar, safe, welcome tray and king size bed, as well as their recently renovated bathrooms (Italian shower or bathtub with headrest). Group or business packages (with dinner and/or breakfast) are available by contacting the hotel reception directly. On sunny days, have breakfast on the patio, a real haven of peace to start your day outside and before leaving to discover the Royannais country rich in its maritime singularities or, more invigorating, to go for a swim in the ocean 3 mns away from the hotel by foot. Happy and proud of its partnership with the Violin sur le Sable festival, the Atlantis hotel has been hosting the musicians of the Paris Opera for many years as part of this festival. All information and links to this festival will be available soon.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for one night and found the service excellent. The hotel was comfortable but a little basic bathroom facilities. Breakfast was good with a friendly welcome. Situation was perfect with a short walk to the seafront or the market.

This is a lovely little Hotel, in walking distance to beach , shops and restaurants. Rooms are clean and ideal for a short stay. Only down side the walls are very thin and you HEAR everything in the room{s} next door. Breakfast is brilliant self service, everything you could want. The manager is so nice speaks english and very helpful regarding where places are etc.

Comfortable and clean hotel, situated really close to main beach, and short walk to marina with restaurants and shops. Manager spoke excellent English whenever our French let us down. Ideal and affordable option for a short stay in Royan.

At around Euros50-60 per night for two this is a really good value hotel. Very well placed near the town centre and beach; clean and comfortable rooms even though the are very basic. Very noisy plumbing and not enough heating. Breakfast OK and again, good value. OK wifi available for free. What you'd expect of a 2 star hotel, I guess.....

My wife and I stayed with 2 Swedish friends for 2 nights in June 2014. The rooms were spacious with nice, clean bathrooms. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typically French - croissants and bread with jams etc and good coffee and tea. Parking on the street outside is free and no problem and it is just a short walk to the sea front and town centre. We would certainly stay here again as it represents good value.

We booked it in advance because of price and location near the train station and we were very pleased with it. Reception was very helpful, the room was reasonably sized and comfortable, and breakfast was as good as could be expected for the price. We also liked Royan.

Went there in winter, out of the the touristic season, so you might see some differences if you go in summer. Excellent location : walking distance from the sea, the railway station, the bus station and the city center. Quiet street. Rooms are new with double glazing so you don't hear the noise from the street. Very clean. As there were some rooms available, I got a free upgrade. Breakfast is a buffet with viennoiseries, fresh bread, orange juice, stewed apples, yogurts, cereals and Nutella. Manager is very helpful, trying to find solutions whenever possible. I will recommend this hotel to friends and certainly go back.

A very convenient and reasonably priced hotel close to the main beach and seafront in Royan. Ideal for a short visit with street parking and close to bars and restaurants. Rooms basically furnished with shower room and separate WC.
